Using the tight-binding approach, we investigate the electronic and magneto-optical properties of bilayer phosphorene quantum dots (BLPQDs) in the presence of perpendicular electric and magnetic fields.

The Cross

The cross-section of light absorption by size-quantized semiconductor quantum dots (QD) is calculated in the case of a resonance with an exciton in cubical crystals of class. The interference of stimulating and induced electric and magnetic fields is taken into account. The cross-section of light absorption is proportional to the exciton nonradiative damping .

The hamiltonian operator corresponding to a GaAs parabolic quantum dot is formulated by analyzing carefully the terms of this operator. In this formulation, certain plasma aspects are discussed with respect to the hamiltonian. Our study is referred to the absence of electric and magnetic fields.
