Inspecting the nonbonding and antibonding orbitals in a surface-supported metal–organic framework

By using low-temperature scanning tunnelling microscopy, we have revealed the spatial distribution and energy separation of the nonbonding and antibonding orbitals associated with individual metal atoms in a surface-supported metal–organic framework.

Guest@MOF materials have potential in next-generation materials for electroconductive devices. Micro-spectroscopy studies of TCNQ@HKUST-1 electroconductive composites revealed the effects of spatial distribution and water vapor on this material.

A novel cellulose monolith supported ZIF-8 metal organic framework as a hierarchical porous material was designed by using a highly effective pump injection method, which is used for a flow-based reaction.
