Plasma-enhanced cycling durability of a Mo2C decorated N-doped carbon nanofiber electrocatalyst for Li–O2 battery cathodes

A traditionally unperceived approach, glow discharge plasma, is employed to modify the surface of Mo2C@NCF. The plasma breaks the MoOx passivation layer on Mo2C and promotes the formation of interfacial Mo–N, leading to enhanced cycling durability.
