Autofluorescence changes of tomato surface tissues during overripening
We investigated the autofluorescence of tomato surface tissues during overripening. Microscopic images and fluorescence spectra of tissues were examined, revealing that the autofluorescence changes were related to the epidermis and the cuticle.
