This research intention is to contribute to the maintenance of quality of life during the aging process of workers of a technical school. Aim: To use continuing health education as a tool for the development of the theme regarding quality of life in the healthy aging process. Method This is descriptive-exploratory, research-action, with a qualitative methodological approach research. Semi-structured questionnaires and the observation of educational groups will be used to collect data. Inclusion criteria: to work in the language centre or in the computing centre. Exclusion criteria: employees who are currently  in  any  kind  of  leave  of  absence,  including  annual holiday  leaves.  The information collected through the questionnaire will be interpreted according to Bardin's Content Analysis method. The remaining stages will be analysed using Paulo Freire and Permanent  Health  Education  Policy  (Política  Nacional  de  Educação Permanente  em Saúde)  theoretical  frameworks.    Subsequently,  the  results  will  be  presented  to  the employees,  allowing  them  to  ponder  over  the  importance  of  continuing  education  for having life quality during the aging process.

The problem faced by the elderly is the natural aging process. Aging process causes many problems both physical, psychological, social relationship and environment. It has resulted disruption to always need the help, elderly people do not feel qualified because they always felt dependence on others. The existence of a family can support the daily activities of the elderly to be of higher quality. The aim of the study is determinant the relationship between family function toward the elderly life quality in the working place of Puskesmas Waara Muna’s Regency. Type of the study is quantitative by using Cross-Sectional Study approach. There are 71 elderly as sample. Data analysis are Univariate, Bivariate and Multivariate. The results showed that there was a relationship between adaptation (p-value=0,001), partnership (p-value= 0,000), affection (p value=0,040), resolve (p value=0,001) and the quality of life of the elderly. Meanwhile, the growth variable (p value=0,052) has nothing to do with the quality of life of the elderly. The partnership variable has a significant relationship with the quality of life of the elderly (ρ-value<0,05) with a sig. of 0,000 on the quality of life of the elderly. It is recommended for puskesmas to improve health services for the elderly by conducting home visits to carry out direct monitoring of the elderly.

Ensino. Abstract: The progressive populational growth in Brazil has caused, in the social-demographical scope mainly, much worry to the health systems, wich are not prepared to attend the different demands of this age segment. Caring for the elderly people as an integral person and not only as a biological organism, protecting them and integrating them into the psychosocial context of the moment should be the main objective of the health field professionals. We must be as well prepared to deal with the specificities of the aging process as to treat their disturbances. There is a deep inter-relation between the perceived quality of life and the mental and physical health. This reflexion analyzes the importance of the preventive rehabilitation in the elderly’s and their family’s life quality promotion, leading to the consequent prevention and postponement of the symptoms and chronical diceases manifestation. Purpose of the study. Assessing the association between the life quality of patients with Sjogren’s Disease and ongoing therapy with various disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs.Material and methods. The study was conducted on the basis of the regional rheumatology center of the consultative diagnostic clinic of the Sverdlovsk Regional Clinical Hospital No. 1. This work is based on the results of a simultaneous study of 74 patients with primary Sjogren’s Disease (SD), distributed in three comparison groups receiving various disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs chlorambucil, methotrexate and hydroxychloroquine. The diagnosis of SD was carried out according to European-American criteria AECGC (2002) [18]. In order to analyze the quality of life of patients with SD, the 36-Item Short Form Health Survey (SF‑36) was used. Statistical data processing was carried out using Statistica 7.0 program.Results. Assessment of the quality of life of patients with SD, which is an integrative criterion of human health and well-being, revealed the absence of statistically significant differences (p > 0.05) on eight scales and two health components of the SF‑36 questionnaire in the analyzed groups that differ in the treatment of disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs chlorambucil, methotrexate and hydroxychloroquine.Conclusions. The obtained data indicate an equivalent quality of life in SD patients treated with different disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs methotrexate, chlorambucil and hydroxychloroquine, and therefore hydroxychloroquine can be considered as an alternative basic therapy in patients with SD with certain limitations and contraindications methotrexate and chlorambucil.

Subject. The article considers functioning and development of process flows of transportation and logistics system of a smart city. Objectives. The study identifies factors and dependencies of the quality of human life on the organization and management of stream processes. Methods. I perform a comparative analysis of previous studies, taking into account the uniquely designed results, and the econometric analysis. Results. The study builds multiple regression models that are associated with stream processes, highlights interdependent indicators of temporary traffic and pollution that affect the indicator of life quality. However, the identified congestion indicator enables to predict the time spent in traffic jams per year for all participants of stream processes. Conclusions. The introduction of modern intelligent transportation systems as a component of the transportation and logistics system of a smart city does not fully solve the problems of congestion in cities at the current rate of urbanization and motorization. A viable solution is to develop cooperative and autonomous intelligent transportation systems based on the logistics approach. This will ensure control over congestion, the reduction of which will contribute to improving the life quality of people in urban areas.
