An in situ pre-wetted PbI2 nano-sheet array film (HP-PbI2) was developed to prepare smooth, continuous, uniform, dense, and PbI2-free perovskite layers, and the devices fabricated from it showed a promising PCE of 19.19% with a relatively good stability.
