The phosphors SrAl2Si2O8 doped with different Eu2+ concentration were prepared by solid-state reaction technique, and their photoluminescent properties at different temperature were investigated. With the increase of Eu2+ content, two emission bands can be observed and this can be interpreted as Eu2+ ions occupying two types of sites in the crystal lattice. And their lifetime is decreasing, this result can be due to energy transfer among Eu2+ ions nonradiately at higher concentration of Eu2+ ions in the host lattices. The phosphor SrAl2Si2O8:0.40Eu shares intense blue emitting with broad excitation in the near-UV range. This phosphor may be an excellent blue phosphor for near ultraviolet InGaN-based white diodes.

Abstract The Dy3+, Mn4+: NaLaMgWO6 phosphors are synthesized successfully using the technique of solid-state reaction at 1150 ℃. The XRD and SEM-EDS are measured to analyze the phase purity. The concentrations of Dy3+, Mn4+, Mg2+, Na+, La3+ and W6+ are measured by ICP. The absorption and excited spectra are presented, which indicate the 390 nm is suitable for the tunable yellow-red light excitation. Using the 390 nm LED as the excitation source, the emission spectra with different doped concentrations ratios of Dy3+to Mn4+ are obtained, which shows good tunable yellow-red emission performance.

A near Infrared (NIR) quantum cutting (QC) Sr3AlO4F:Tb3+,Yb3+phosphor was synthesized by the conventional high temperature solid-state reaction. The luminescence spectra both in visible (VIS) and NIR regions and decay lifetime curves of Tb3+have been measured to prove energy transfer (ET) from Tb3+to Yb3+. Quantum efficiency (QE) related to Yb3+concentration was calculated and the highest QE was found to be 135% hen Yb3+doped concentration at 20%. The present Tb3+and Yb3+co-doped Sr3AlO4F phosphor may be a promising candidate to modify the spectral of the solar light.
