A jasmine-flower like CoSe2 nanoplates termed as MOF-D CoSe2 has been successfully derived from a cobalt MOF precursor, namely, ([Co3(tiron-bpy)2(bpy)(H2O)8]·(H2O)2) and tested as a bifunctional electrocatalyst in both acidic and alkaline media.

Pt@Ni3N catalysts with plentiful contact between Ni3N and Pt species were fabricated by a facile strategy. The Pt@Ni3N with low amount of Pt clusters shows excellent electrocatalytic activity of HER and OER in alkaline media.
