The decomposition of Pd2(dba)3 by H2 in the presence of Al(iPrO)3 generated a stable Pd colloid, which was easily converted into a composite nanomaterial, namely Al2O3-embedded Pd NPs.

In this study, B, N-codoped graphene nanoribbons (BN-GNRs) were prepared on a large scale via a one-pot hydrothermal method with GNRs and an ammonium fluoroborate (NH4BF4) mixture and served as the support for Pd loading targeted for efficient ethanol electrooxidation.

TiO2 loaded with Pd nanoparticles, when irradiated by UV light in alcohols with nitroarenes, successfully produces the corresponding secondary amines with almost quantitative yield, via tandem photocatalytic and catalytic reactions.
