A hierarchical 3D Zn–Ni–P nanosheet arrays based all-solid-state ASC exhibits an excellent energy density of ∼90.12 W h kg−1 at 0.61 kW kg−1, power density of ∼8.77 kW kg−1 at 65.83 W h kg−1, and extraordinary cycling stability of ∼93.05% capacitance retention after 20 000 cycles.

The mesoporous V2O5/Ketjin black nanocomposites electrode (VK2) shows high areal capacitance and good cycling stability in a LiCl/PVA gel electrolyte. Furthermore, the VK-based all-solid-state symmetric supercapacitor can provide the maximum energy density of 56.83 W h kg−1, indicating their potential for practical applications.
