Vertically aligned Li4Ti5O12 (LTO) nanowire arrays on freestanding ultrathin graphite (FSG) film were developed for lightweight, and high-power flexible lithium ion batteries. The combination of LTO and FSG is fully capable of exhibiting mechanical flexibility and good electrochemical performance.
