The CoNi-MOF which was synthesised using a Co-MOF was converted into a CoNiP nanobox by low temperature phosphating. The CoNiP nanobox exhibits outstanding catalytic activity and long durability for the HER in alkaline electrolytes.

Nickel phosphide nanoparticles decorated on carbon nanotubes were synthesized by in situ thermal decomposition for the first time. The Ni2P/CNT nanohybrid exhibits high activity and stability for hydrogen evolution.
