Core–shell–corona type triblock copolymer poly(styrene-b-2-vinylpyridine-b-ethylene oxide) (PS-b-P2VP-b-PEO) micelles have been selected here to direct the synthesis of mesoporous Pt-on-Pd spheres.

A amphiphilic triblock copolymer, poly(ethylene oxide) -poly(dimethylsiloxane) -poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO-PDMS-PEO) was synthesized via a simple hydrosilylation reaction, and inclusion selective rule of cyclodextrins (α–CDand γ-CD) and PEO-PDMS-PEO to form inclusion complexes were discussed in this paper. Selective inclusion's impact on the triblock copolymer( PEO-PDMS-PEO) was studied.

Hollow TiO2nanospheres have been successfully prepared by templating the polymericmicelles of poly (styrene-b-[3-(methacryloylamino)propyl] trimethylammonium chloride- b-ethylene oxide) (PS-b-PMAPTAC-b-PEO), which shows a core-shell-corona structure in aqueous solutions. It was found that, in such system, the wall thickness of the hollow TiO2is fine tuned by varying the concentration of the TiO2precursor.
