High methane storage and working capacities in a NbO-type metal–organic framework

By optimization of the pore structure, we achieved an NbO-type MOF exhibiting exceptionally high volumetric methane storage and working capacities of 241 and 190 cm3 (STP) cm−3 at 298 K and 65 bar if the packing loss is not considered.
