Liquid-phase epitaxial growth of a homochiral MOF thin film on poly(l-DOPA) functionalized substrate for improved enantiomer separation

By introducing self-polymerized chiral poly(l-DOPA) with excellent adhesion as the substrate, gas chromatography results showed that the chiral poly(l-DOPA) substrate for MOF growth can enhance the enantiomer separation of the probe molecules methyl lactate and 1-phenylethanol.
