A coral-like film of Ni@NiS with core–shell particles for the counter electrode of an efficient dye-sensitized solar cell

A novel coral-like film with core–shell particles of Ni@NiS is obtained on an FTO glass by a two-step electrochemical deposition technique. An efficiency of 7.84% is achieved, which is comparable to that of a DSSC with a platinum counter electrode (8.11%).
