A novel plasmonic photocatalyst, Ag/AgCl@ZIF-8, was fabricated for the first time. The unique structure of Ag/AgCl@ZIF-8 greatly enhanced its photocatalytic activity towards the degradation of organic pollutants under solar irradiation.
