Solvent dependent reactivities of di-, tetra- and hexanuclear manganese complexes: syntheses, structures and magnetic properties

An unusual solvent effect on the syntheses of di-, tetra-, and hexanuclear manganese complexes has been exhibited. Complex 5 displayed the first stacked, off-set 8-azametallacrown-3. Magnetic analysis showed slow magnetic relaxation with S = 4 ground state.
