In this article, we report a facile and scalable route for the fabrication of Mn2O3 hollow microspheres by direct pyrolysis of Mn-based metal–organic frameworks at 450 °C with a heating rate of 10 °C min−1 in air.

A facile synthetic method was developed to prepare Zr-MOFs. Pseudocapacitor behavior in KOH electrolyte. Zr-MOF1 with small particle size exhibited higher supercapacitive performance.

Metal–organic frameworks-derived SiW12@Co3O4 with a highly inherent peroxidase-like activity and excellent stability was synthesized. A SiW12@Co3O4-based method was successfully developed for H2O2 and one-pot glucose detection.
