A novel porphyrin and pyrene-based conjugated microporous polymer (Por-Py-CMP) was synthesized. It exhibited a high BET surface area (1014 m2 g−1) and excellent capacity for capturing CO2 and I2. It also showed high efficiency for 1O2 generation.
