A new β-hairpin mimic foldamer based on the assembly of a reverse turn inducer, a peptidomimetic strand, and a tetrapeptide sequence was prepared, and its conformation in solution was assessed by NMR and computational investigations.

Abstract Thirteen samples of sulfanilic acid from various sources were evaluated for purity, using a variety of instrumental and chemical methods. The properties considered include strength, moisture, insoluble materials, iron, sodium, aniline sulfate, orthanilic acid, nictanilic acid, aniline- 2,4-disulfonic acid, and absorptivity. In general, the samples were found to be organically pure and reasonably consistent in quality.
