Une intervention psychothérapeutique protocolisée a été mise au point par Stanley et associés pour aider à prévenir de futurs comportements suicidaires chez les personnes qui ont déjà fait une tentative de suicide. Le plan de sécurité (PS) fournit aux suicidants une planification écrite, personnalisée, étape par étape, des stratégies de protection et d’adaptation (coping) à mettre en œuvre en cas de crise suicidaire. Le PS comprend six éléments informatifs : (1) les signes avant-coureurs liés à une augmentation des impulsions suicidaires; (2) les stratégies d’adaptation internes que l’individu est capable de mettre en œuvre par lui-même; (3) les stratégies d’adaptation à mettre en œuvre avec le soutien d’amis et de parents; (4) les moyens qu’il/elle peut employer pour contacter les personnes significatives au sein de son réseau de soutien social; (5) les professionnels de la santé mentale et les services d’assistance téléphonique à éventuellement contacter en cas d’urgence suicidaire; et (6) les stratégies pour obtenir un environnement plus sûr au domicile. Les PS sont élaborés avec les suicidants au décours de la crise suicidaire. Les suicidants sont encouragés à partager le SP avec un proche de leur réseau de soutien. Ceci est obligatoire avec un suicidant mineur. Le parent ou le responsable légal doit être impliqué dans la préparation et le suivi du PS. Afin d’évaluer en permanence le risque suicidaire de l’individu, les PS sont revus tout au long du suivi thérapeutique. Le SP est une brève intervention, facile à mettre en œuvre à la suite d’une tentative de suicide. On dispose de résultats de recherche prometteurs concernant son efficacité dans la prévention des récidives de conduites auto-agressives.

This article aims to explain maqâṣid al-Qur’ân according to M. Quraish Shihab and its application in interpreting verses related to the use of social media. The problem that will be answered in this article covers two main issues, namely how the perspective of maqâṣid al-Qur’ân according to M. Quraish Shihab and how it is applied in interpreting the verses of the use of social media. The method used is the thematic method, namely discussing verses based on themes. Fr om this study the authors concluded that according to M. Quraish Shihab there are six elements of a large group of universal goals of the al-Qur’ân, namely strengthening the faith, humans as caliphs, unifying books, law enforcement, callers to the ummah of wasathan, and mastering world civilization. The quality of information lies in the strength of the monotheistic dimension which is the highest peak of the Qur’anic maqâṣid. M. Quraish Shihab offers six diction which can be done by recipients of information in interacting on social media. Thus, it aims to usher in the knowledge and understanding of what is conveyed in carrying out human mission as caliph, enlightenment through oral and written, law enforcement, unifying mankind and the universe to the ummah of wasathan, and mastery of world civilization

AbstractAn ichthyosaur in the collections of the Sedgwick Museum, Cambridge (CAMSMX.50187) was collected in the nineteenth century by the renowned fossil collector Mary Anning, but has never been adequately described in the literature. As an Anning specimen, it is certainly from the Lower Jurassic of Lyme Regis, west Dorset. The near complete presacral skeleton is lying on its left side and includes a complete skull, one complete and one partial forefin, pectoral bones, all six elements of the pelvic girdle, and both hindfins. The centra in the anterior caudal region, however, are from another individual and may have replaced the original ones. The specimen is identified as Ichthyosaurus based on the morphology of the humerus and forefin. It is assigned to I. breviceps on the basis of the relatively short snout, large eye, and tall neural spines. This is the only known specimen of I. breviceps to preserve a complete pelvis. Notably, the ilium is longer than the pubis and ischium, and the pubis is longer than the ischium. This individual is the largest I. breviceps reported in the literature, with jaw length of 33.5 cm and estimated length from snout to tail bend of 1.6 m.

Summary Neo-Calvinism is increasingly popular in the United States, but far less so in the Netherlands where it originated. Written from the context of the Free University (Vrije Universiteit) founded by Abraham Kuyper, this article presents six elements of Neo-Calvinism which together establish it as an important and relevant worldview for our time. The first is that it attempts to create a ‘priestly’ connection between gospel and culture. Next there are Neo-Calvinism’s notion of the sovereignty of God, its conviction that humans are elected to something, and its belief that this world – even in its fallen state – is and remains God’s world. The last two elements are the trinitarian spread of its theology and the fact that it exercises the Christian virtues of faith, hope and love.

This article discusses the importance of vision and mission of the Islamic Education Lecturers (IELs) in teaching and learning (TnL). This study was fully conducted through qualitative method via case study. Six IELs were selected as participants and willing to be interviewed, and the data from the interview were supported by three Heads of Islamic Education Unit, 12 lecturers and 12 students. The data were triangulated with the data obtained through observation and document analysis. The data were analysed through N’Vivo software to generate a pattern of themes and characteristics of the vision and mission in TnL. The result found that there were six elements of vision and mission emphasized by the IELs in TnL. Five of them had formed a pattern. That five elements were; students receiving and appreciating, TnL objective achieved, spreading da’wah, moulding students attidtude and thinking, and achieving success in the world and the hereafter. Therefore, a model which is named as Model of the Vision and Mission Practice for the Excellent Islamic Education Lecturers was deloped. From the overall view, the emphasis on achieving mission and vision helps the IELs to successfully conduct TnL inside and outside classroom.
