The purpose of this study is to create a new tool capable of diagnosing the severity of internet addiction (IA) and is based on the nine IGD criteria. These same criteria were suggested by the APA in the last edition of the DSM-51. A sample was recruited with a method of convenience and 300+ participants were recruited through different forums and social networks. The construct validity of the IDS9SF test was achieved through factor analysis and nomological validity. The concurrent validity, criterion and reliability of the test itself have been thoroughly investigated through the most common and consolidated data analysis techniques, confirming that the same test has sufficient psychometric properties to be used also in the Italian territory. Furthermore it is necessary to remember that this preliminary research is only valid in the field of data and statistics with all the limitations of the case and cannot be used for a real clinical evaluation.

The people of Yogyakarta are known for their tolerance, where people of different religions can coexist peacefully especially with Javanese traditions. But in Mangir, a village in Bantul, Yogyakarta, in November 12, 2019, there was a case of local residents rejecting the procession of ancestral prayer rituals by the Paguyuban Padma Buana (PPB) who claims to be followers of Javanese Hinduism. This study aimed at disclosing the elements and roots of conflict from the Mangir community's rejection towards Paguyuban Padma Buana. As a case study, it used conflict analysis approach through timeline and factor analysis techniques. The results showed that the open conflict between the two groups has occurred since 2012 with the main issue of syncretic ritual practices of Hinduism, Buddhism, and Kejawen (Javanism) that involve people from various religions. In addition, the Maha Lingga Padma Buana Temple as a place of whorship and rituals has also the license problems. Reconciliation was carried out between residents with the Padma Buana followers in 2015. Unfortunately it was violated by the Paguyuban Padma Buana and became a trigger of conflict back in 2019. The cause of this conflict is multiple factors, all of which are interrelated. However, the root cause of the problem among Mangir people is mostly related to traditional revivalism and the distribution of cultural tourism management authorities. The increased adoption of smartphones, the access to mobile broadband networks and the availability of public Clouds allow new multimedia services, called Cloud Mobile Media Services. Under this new architecture the proliferation of live video streaming applications and the Quality of Experience (QoE) given by the final user are an issue, due to the higher and variable delay, as result of the virtualization methods used in the Clouds. Thus in this paradigm new challenges appear related to keep and estimate a good QoE in terms of a standarized subjective video quality called Mean Opinion Score (MOS). In this paper we analyze different approaches based on Factor Analysis techniques to estimate the subjective MOS both using Full Reference and Non Reference approaches. We compare the performance of the estimated MOS against publicly available video quality algorithms.

This article presents the development of a junior version of the Spanish (Castilian) NEO Personality Inventory–Revised (JS NEO) suitable for adolescents aged 12 to 18 years. The psychometric properties of the new JS NEO were investigated using two samples of 2,733 and 983 adolescents in Spain. The results showed that the adult NEO-PI-R factor structure was replicated with the junior version of the inventory and that the reliabilities of the scales were adequate. The cross-form correlations between the junior and the adult versions of the questionnaires indicated good equivalence indices. Furthermore, a joint factor analysis of the JS NEO and the Big Five Questionnaire–Children (BFQ-C) provided additional evidence for the construct validity of the JS NEO.
