A female psychopath presented multiple forms of psychopathology, including features of ‘multiple personality disorder’. The diagnosis of multiple personality is difficult and complicated. The differential diagnosis includes temporal lobe epilepsy, schizophrenia, borderline personality disorder, malingering, and other dissociative disorders. Psychometric research is needed to sharpen detection of multiple personality.
