Abstract Line narrowing by a factor of 3-4 has been achieved in the CNMR spectra of a black-filled, vulcanized cis-poly(isoprenc) by 1 kHz sample rotation at the magic angle. The narrowing permits the resolution of a new methylene carbon line not present in the spectrum of an unfilled, nonvulcanized, otherwise comparable cis-poly (isoprene).
