In this paper we discuss the packing properties of invariant disks defined by periodic behavior of a model for a bandpass Σ–Δ modulator. The periodically coded regions form a packing of the forward invariant phase space by invariant disks. For this one-parameter family of PWIs, by introducing codings underlying the map operations we give explicit expressions for the centers of the disks by analytic functions of the parameters, and then show that tangencies between disks in the packings are very rare; more precisely they occur on parameter values that are at most countably infinite. We indicate how similar results can be obtained for other plane maps that are piecewise isometries.

A molecular graph can be transformed using map operations, one of these, named Capra, being defined by Diudea (2005). Topological indices are closely related to the toxicological, physicochemical, pharmacological properties of a chemical compound. These topological indices correlate certain physico-chemical properties like boiling point, stability and strain energy of chemical compounds. In this paper, we focus on the Silicate SiO2 layer structure and the structure of Capra-designed planar benzenoid series , (). We determined Zagreb type indices, Forgotten index, Augmented index and Balaban index for these structures.

A new technology was elaborated, combining a geoinformation system (GIS) and GIS- oriented algorithmic methods of artificial intellect (AI). Numerous thematic layers for geosciences, obtained from Russian and international scientific sources, were imported into the GIS. Technology and software for integration of AI methods within the GIS in the form of the Centralized Catalogue of Geodata Processing Algorithms (CCGPA) was developed. A GIS visualization subsystem was created to provide interaction between the GIS and its users. It performs geodata layers visualization, map operations, geodata set management, execution of CCGPA-stored algorithms and representation of application results.
