We prove that the extension problem from one-dimensional subvarieties with values in Bergman space $H^{1}(D)$ on convex finite type domains can be solved by means of appropriate measures. We obtain also almost optimal results concerning the extension problem for other Bergman spaces and one-dimensional varieties.

We investigate the extension problem from higher codimensional linear subvarieties on convex domains of finite type. We prove that there exists a constantdsuch that on Bergman spacesHp(D)with1≤p<dthere appears the so-called “gain regularity.” The constantddepends on the minimum of the dimension and the codimension of the subvariety. This means that the space of functions which admit an extension to a function in the Bergman spaceHp(D)is strictly larger thanHp(D∩A), whereAis a subvariety.

AbstractBounded and compact differences of two composition operators acting from the weighted Bergman space $$A^p_\omega $$ A ω p to the Lebesgue space $$L^q_\nu $$ L ν q , where $$0<q<p<\infty $$ 0 < q < p < ∞ and $$\omega $$ ω belongs to the class "Equation missing" of radial weights satisfying two-sided doubling conditions, are characterized. On the way to the proofs a new description of q-Carleson measures for $$A^p_\omega $$ A ω p , with $$p>q$$ p > q and "Equation missing", involving pseudohyperbolic discs is established. This last-mentioned result generalizes the well-known characterization of q-Carleson measures for the classical weighted Bergman space $$A^p_\alpha $$ A α p with $$-1<\alpha <\infty $$ - 1 < α < ∞ to the setting of doubling weights. The case "Equation missing" is also briefly discussed and an open problem concerning this case is posed.

AbstractIn this paper, we present some necessary and sufficient conditions for the hyponormality of Toeplitz operator $T_{\varphi }$ T φ on the Bergman space $A^{2}(\mathbb{D})$ A 2 ( D ) with non-harmonic symbols under certain assumptions.

AbstractIn this paper, we obtain some interesting reproducing kernel estimates and some Carleson properties that play an important role. We characterize the bounded and compact Toeplitz operators on the weighted Bergman spaces with Békollé-Bonami weights in terms of Berezin transforms. Moreover, we estimate the essential norm of them assuming that they are bounded.

AbstractIt has been shown that a holomorphic function f in the unit ball of ℂn belongs to the weighted Bergman space , p > n + 1 + α, if and only if the function | f(z) – f(w)|/|1 – 〈z, w〉| is in Lp( × , dvβ × dvβ), where β = (p + α – n – 1)/2 and dvβ(z) = (1 – |z|2)βdv(z). In this paper we consider the range 0 < p < n + 1 + α and show that in this case, f ∈ (i) if and only if the function | f(z) – f(w)|/|1 – hz, wi| is in Lp( × , dvα × dvα), (ii) if and only if the function | f(z)– f(w)|/|z–w| is in Lp( × , dvα × dvα). We think the revealed difference in the weights for the double integrals between the cases 0 < p < n + 1 + α and p > n + 1 + α is particularly interesting.

AbstractThe aimof this paper is to study small Hankel operators h on the Hardy space or on weighted Bergman spaces, where Ω is a finite type domain in ℂ2 or a strictly pseudoconvex domain in ℂn. We give a sufficient condition on the symbol ƒ so that h belongs to the Schatten class Sp, 1 ≤ p < +∞.

AbstractLet X be a complex Banach space and let Bp(X) denote the vector-valued Bergman space on the unit disc for 1 ≤ p < ∞. A sequence (Tn)n of bounded operators between two Banach spaces X and Y defines a multiplier between Bp(X) and Bq(Y) (resp. Bp(X) and lq(Y)) if for any function we have that belongs to Bq(Y) (resp. (Tn(xn))n ∈ lq(Y)). Several results on these multipliers are obtained, some of them depending upon the Fourier or Rademacher type of the spaces X and Y. New properties defined by the vector-valued version of certain inequalities for Taylor coefficients of functions in Bp(X) are introduced.

An orthonormal basis of analytic functions in the Bergman space is a doubly orthogonal system if it simultaneously is an orthogonal system in a larger domain. The case when one of the basis elements is a monomial is characterized as belonging to a pair of domains of concentric discs.
