In last passage percolation models lying in the Kardar–Parisi–Zhang (KPZ) universality class, the energy of long energy-maximizing paths may be studied as a function of the paths’ pair of endpoint locations. Scaled coordinates may be introduced, so that these maximizing paths, or polymers, now cross unit distances with unit-order fluctuations, and have scaled energy, or weight, of unit order. In this article, we consider Brownian last passage percolation in these scaled coordinates. In the narrow wedge case, when one endpoint of such polymers is fixed, say at $(0,0)\in \mathbb{R}^{2}$ , and the other is varied horizontally, over $(z,1)$ , $z\in \mathbb{R}$ , the polymer weight profile as a function of $z\in \mathbb{R}$ is locally Brownian; indeed, by Hammond [‘Brownian regularity for the Airy line ensemble, and multi-polymer watermelons in Brownian last passage percolation’, Preprint (2016), arXiv:1609.02971, Theorem 2.11 and Proposition 2.5], the law of the profile is known to enjoy a very strong comparison to Brownian bridge on a given compact interval, with a Radon–Nikodym derivative in every $L^{p}$ space for $p\in (1,\infty )$ , uniformly in the scaling parameter, provided that an affine adjustment is made to the weight profile before the comparison is made. In this article, we generalize this narrow wedge case and study polymer weight profiles begun from a very general initial condition. We prove that the profiles on a compact interval resemble Brownian bridge in a uniform sense: splitting the compact interval into a random but controlled number of patches, the profile in each patch after affine adjustment has a Radon–Nikodym derivative that lies in every $L^{p}$ space for $p\in (1,3)$ . This result is proved by harnessing an understanding of the uniform coalescence structure in the field of polymers developed in Hammond [‘Exponents governing the rarity of disjoint polymers in Brownian last passage percolation’, Preprint (2017a), arXiv:1709.04110] using techniques from Hammond (2016) and [‘Modulus of continuity of polymer weight profiles in Brownian last passage percolation’, Preprint (2017b), arXiv:1709.04115].

Let f be a continuous map from a compact interval into itself. Continuing the work begun by Schweizer and Smítal [1994], we prove that the restriction of f to any basic set (i.e. any nonsolenoidal, infinite, maximal ω-limit set) satisfies a generalization of the specification property. We apply this generalization to establish several conjectures made in the abovementioned paper, e.g. the fact that distributional chaos is stable.

Health is something that is desired by every human being, because healthy everyone can carry out activities smoothly without interruption, can do a job, and / or work optimally. Advances in science and technology as well as socio-economic improvements have an impact on improving the health status and life expectancy of the community, so that the number of elderly people also increases. The increase in the number of elderly people will have an impact on various lives. The main impact of this increase in the elderly is the increasing dependence of the elderly. Many of us find elderly people sent to nursing homes neglected by their families and other problems. Humans sometimes forget how important health is, especially for the elderly. Currently, people ignore the importance of maintaining health, especially physical. The number of activities carried out so that they forget to maintain and maintain a healthy body. On the other hand, there is still a lack of knowledge and understanding of the importance of physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle, especially for the elderly. Therefore we need a program to improve the quality of life of the elderly. The method used is the Initial Condition Survey, Assistance (Theory and Practice) (Training, Socialization of the Application of a Healthy Lifestyle for the Elderly. The result is that the community practices a healthy lifestyle for the elderly so that they have quality. In addition, after this service, it is hoped that the community will be able to maintain and utilize medicinal plants). has been made in the yard of the posyandu for the elderly.

Abstract Most of the existing peatland area in Indonesia is degraded mainly due to human activities. This, in association with the construction of drainage canals, resulted in a lower water table compared to its natural condition, causing many changes. Although the criteria for damage and recovery have already been articulated into several existing regulations, yet the indicators for recovery have not been widely studied. For effective restoration, managers need to have basic data related to the initial condition of damaged areas or at least have data on areas that are able to recover naturally without human assistance. Random sampling was used to collect field data on vegetation structure and composition, including direct interviews with the resource persons. Observations made in several locations within the Sebangau National Park indicated that some areas are recovering naturally and relatively fast, although some are not. During 2017 forest fires, only 98.03 ha or burned areas were recorded. This can be seen from the species composition and the vegetation structure covering the studied area. Conditions in the field indicate that all peat forests have been fragmented through the existence of canals which are used for various activities.

We consider a more general initial condition satisfying the minimal uncertainty relationship. We calculate the power spectrum of a simple model in inflationary cosmology. The results depend on perturbations generated below a fundamental scale, e.g. the Planck scale.
