In the present work the LaCoO3 formation from gel precursors obtained by water-based sol-gel method with citric acid was studied. As precursors La and Co nitrates were used. The obtained gels were analyzed by TG/ DTA and TG/EGA. The decomposition of the gels takes place in two main steps with the evolution of the same volatile compounds (H2O, CO2 and NO2) leading to the conclusion that two types of bonding of the components in the gels occurred. The decomposition of the gels takes place up to 400?C. The gels thermally treated at 600?C lead to single pure perovskite rhombohedral phase of lanthanum cobalt oxide (LaCoO3). Some electrical properties of LaCoO3 measured in 'operando' conditions, i.e. in gas flow, at atmospheric pressure (by using the differential step technique DST) are presented and discussed.

KNN-BF piezoelectric ceramics synthesized by sol-gel method in this experiment. By controlling bismuth and iron content in the system to study effects of them. We selected citric acid as metal chelator and ethylene glycol as esterification agent. PH maintained 5-6 during preparation of the sol. Sintering temperature of ceramic selected 1100°C. Preparation ceramics under these conditions and comparative analysis, the structure of ceramics is single perovskite and shap of crystals are square block. With the increase of x, properties of ceramics firstly increases and then decreases: d33, εr, Qm, Kpreaching the maximum, values of them were 136pC/N, 630(f =1KHz), 212, 0.41 respectively; dielectric loss to minimum is 0.07(f =1KHz); at this point, ceramics had best performance.

Transparent thin films of Sn-doped ZnO (ZnO:Sn) were deposited onto silica glass substrates by the sol–gel method. The effect of different Sn doping on the crystallinity, structural, optical and electrical properties of ZnO:Sn thin films were investigated by XRD, SEM, UV-VIS spectrophotometer and four-point probe method respectively. Among all of ZnO:Sn thin films in this paper, Sn-doped with 2 at.% exhibited the best properties, the surface demonstrate an accumulative crystallization and hexagonal structure, with a high-preferential c-axis orientation, namely an average transmittance of 90% and the resistivity of 19.6 Ω·cm.
