Water and/or hydroxyl detected remotely on the lunar surface originates from several sources: (i) comets and other exogenous debris; (ii) solar-wind implantation; (iii) the lunar interior. While each of these sources is interesting in its own right, distinguishing among them is critical for testing hypotheses for the origin and evolution of the Moon and our Solar System. Existing spacecraft observations are not of high enough spectral resolution to uniquely characterize the bonding energies of the hydroxyl molecules that have been detected. Nevertheless, the spatial distribution and associations of H, OH − or H 2 O with specific lunar lithologies provide some insight into the origin of lunar hydrous materials. The global distribution of OH − /H 2 O as detected using infrared spectroscopic measurements from orbit is here examined, with particular focus on regional geological features that exhibit OH − /H 2 O absorption band strengths that differ from their immediate surroundings. The last century took us from covered wagons on the pampas to rockets on the moon. Similarly, education has observed a meritorious shift in the new millennium from the conventional methods to the emergence of contemporary approaches. The conventional education systems were based on certain philosophies, theoretical frameworks, and practices which maintained a sluggish environment wherein educating meant to transmit knowledge from expert to amateurs. However, these values and systems do not harmonize with the needs of the current dynamic environments where there is an unbelievable pool of advanced information. In light of this rapidly changing knowledge-based society, the role of teaching and learning is changing dramatically. Now is the era, where countries are looking for the emergence of ‘edupreneurs'.

Analyses of occultation timings show that periodic correction terms with semi-amplitude as great as 0.″18 arise from corrections required to the empirical constants of the Brown/Eckert theory. Using the atomic time-scale, some of the occultation data have been used to determine a correction of – 30 ± 16″/cy2 to Spencer Jones' value for the secular acceleration of the Moon. In the light of this correction, and previous determinations, attention is drawn to the possible weakness of Spencer Jones' value, which is not reflected in his quoted error of ± 1″/cy2. Further analyses of 50000 occultations observed since 1943 promise to reveal more accurately-determined corrections.

Under Dr Wang Feng's Harmony-Guided Criteria for poetry translation, this paper attempts to conduct an analysis on four English versions of Li Bai's "Drinking Alone under the Moon" at three levels, exploring the gains and losses of each version and verifying the guiding role of the Harmony-Guided Criteria in poetry translation. It aims to provide some inspiration and reference for poetry translators and promote the dissemination of classic Chinese culture at the same time.
