In order to clear constructional design of corner joint, it is necessary to further investigate mechanical property of corner joint in gabled frames. Through static test of comparing the panel zone with and without inclined stiffener. Some conclusions are given in the article. The load displacement curves show that the capacity of oblique nodes installed within stiffening rib components is enhanced i.e.40% more than those without stiffening rib nodes. The results reveal that in the gabled frames, the corner node with the inclined stiffening rib can improve the bearing capacity of the specimens. When the extraterritorial flange is tension, the erection of the inclined stiffening rib can prevent structural failure and improve effectually the ductility of the structure.

A novel rectangular vectorization method which uses for auto-forming board based on the feature analysis on a great many of shear wall structural design charts is presented. The constructional design drawing was firstly deconstructed into elementary figure unit which contains lines and rectangular angles. These split functional cell were secondly vectorized by restricting straight line so as to reorder and reclassify these essential structural parts. Finally, the components made for the forming board were obtained from the identified cells combined with the shear well angle’s location. This auto-forming board technology has been applied in cast-in-place concrete practices and the results demonstrate that this method and technology can accurately identify complex constructional drawing constitution of building and raise substantially the efficiency of auto-forming board for building construction. This method also provides the key technique support for smart construction technology.

The common ear tag production and application do not take into regard the demographic environment and climate of a target destination which are specified. However, this fact becomes a core of the problem. The necessity to characterize the ear tag bond comes out from the practical experience when applying incorrect exchange spike in the application punch by mistake. The aim of the experimental research was to carry out the evaluation of the ear tag mechanical qualities under increased and decreased temperatures on the base of the laboratory experiments together with the suitable and incorrect application of the exchange spike in the application punch. Different environment temperatures in the tested interval –20°C till 60°C should simulate one of the possible attribute of the potential application in the different climate. The constructional design of the ear tag bond was proposed on the basis of the laboratory tests.

The article deals with the knowledge of engineering graphics, obtained during studies and its application in architectural and constructional design. Data analysis was carried out and the relationship between the exams’ grades in lower and upper semesters was determined. The evaluations of the following subjects have been examined: General Engineering Graphics, Applied Engineering Graphics, Building Architecture and Structures 1, Building Architecture and Structures 2. The present paper describes the development of an approach that uses a real data set. The investigated data illustrates relevant concepts and methods in the application of introductory civil engineering. The creative use of students' scores evaluation data is recommended to facilitate the learning of civil engineering. The course has enrolments of approximately 250 students.
