In this chapter the authors show, by using a case study, how it is possible to achieve the alignment between business and Information Technology (IT). It describes several phases of project development, from planning strategy, enterprise architecture, development of businesses supporting tools and keeping dynamic alignment between the business and the IT. The authors propose a framework, framed under an enterprise architecture that guarantees a high level of response to the applications development or configuration as improves its alignment to business by solving some limitations of traditional software development solutions namely: difficulty in gathering clients requirements, which should be supported by the applications; difficulty to connect the organisation processes used to answer the client, which must also be integrated in the applications and the difficulty to develop the applications that can follow the business cycle. To test the approach, this was applied to a real case study consisting in the configuration of an application that manages the relationship with the clients.

With the development of component technology, there are many powerful third party components. TeeChart control as one of them was widely used for waveform display and processing. Combining the software development of multi-channel waveform analysis, this paper introduces the characteristics and attributes method of TeeChart control. With using the control, it can realize graphical display of keeping historical data, contrast analyze of the multiple wave etc. And the waveform can be saved as picture or PDF format. Be given the correlation realization code in the Delphi 7.0 development environment.

Factors of success are aimed to provide knowledge-intensive organisations to better manage their knowledge value. There are multiple ways to capture organization’s knowledge and make it available to all their members while it is not easy to capture/share the tacit knowledge among the stakeholders. The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of factors of success on the in-house software development for preserving tacit knowledge. We conducted a survey to study the impact of these five factors on the tacit knowledge sharing between the developers within the in-house software development environment. This paper is firstly exploring the definition of the knowledge and introducing the types of knowledge those are explicit and tacit knowledge. We discuss the in-house software development concept in which the non-IT organizations may need to develop their own software internally with no need to have a third party software development organization. For tacit knowledge sharing, we considered four factors reviewed in other researches and we added to them the pair programming as a practice. Case study is local bank in Palestine. Based on the results we have, it is confirmed the hypothesis of a positive impact of factors of success on the process of knowledge sharing.

PT. Time Excelindo merupakan sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang usaha Penyedia Jasa Layanan Internet (ISP), Online System, Telecommunication, Data Communication, Software Development, serta pembangunan dan pemeliharaan jaringan komputer maupun jaringan telekomunikasi. Dalam proses bisnis pembuatan tagihan jasa layanan, pengerjaannya masih menggunakan cara manual. Agar dapat bersaing dengan perusahaan-perusahaan sejenis maka perlu menyesuaikan diri dan mengikuti perkembangan informasi dan teknologi sekarang sebagai pendukung kelancaran bisnis. PT. Time Excelindo harus mempunyai sistem informasi billing yang lebih canggih, cepat dan akurat serta dapat dimengerti oleh pengguna. Arsitektur enterprise adalah deskripsi dari misi stakeholder dalam hal ini adalah pimpinan organisasi yang didalamnya termasuk informasi, fungsionalitas/ kegunaan, lokasi organisasi, dan parameter kinerja. Pemilihan Framework TOGAF ADM didasarkan pada kebutuhan perancangan sistem, karena TOGAF ADM terbilang lengkap untuk membuat blueprint. TOGAF ADM digunakan untuk mengembangkan enterprise architecture, dimana terdapat metode dan tools yang detil untuk mengimplementasikannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan menyusun perencanaan enterprise arsitektur sistem informasi billing menggunakan metode TOGAF ADM, validasi perancangan menggunakan enterprise architecture score card.Kata Kunci — TOGAF ADM, Enterprise Arsitekture, Billing, EA ScoreCard.PT. Time Excelindo is a company engaged in the business of Internet Service Provider (ISP), Online System, Telecommunication, Data Communication, Software Development, as well as the construction and maintenance of computer networks and telecommunications networks. In the business process to make billing in the services of the workmanship is still used manually. In order to compete with similar companies, it is necessary to adapt and follow the development of information and technology that develops now, as a supporter of business smoothness. PT. Time Excelindo must have a billing information system that is more sophisticated, fast and accurate and can be understood by the user. Enterprise architecture is a description of the mission of stakeholders in this case is the leadership of the organization that includes information, functionality / usability, location of the organization and performance parameters. Selection of TOGAF ADM Framework is based on system design requirement, because TOGAF ADM is complete to make blueprint. TOGAF ADM is used to develop enterprise architecture, where there are detailed methods and tools for implementing it.
