On this research,Internet of Things (IoT) as an advanced technology is used to monitor the height of trash from a trash can in order to give notification whether the height of trash is already reach the maximum limit or not yet.To support those needs,we used NodeMCU as microcontroller,ultrasonic sensor,MQTT as IoT protocol,and also Android application to show the data.After we did the system performance test,we got the biggest result of end-to-end delay which is 2.06875 seconds when the packet delivery is set to 1000 ms with 3 active nodes and the smallest result which is 0.26055 seconds when the packet delivery is set to 100 ms with 1 active mode.The biggest result of throughput is 597.17 Bytes/s when the packet delivery is set to 100 ms with 1 active mode and the smallest result is 75.86 Bytes/s when the packet delivery is set to 1000 ms with 3 active nodes.The biggest result of availability and reliability is 99.905% when the packet delivery is set to 1000 ms and the smallest result is 99.833% when the packet delivery is set to 100 ms.

<p class="Abstract">Lari merupakan olahraga yang efektif untuk membakar kalori. Namun, olahraga ini mempunyai dampak negatif bagi pelari yang mampu memicu serangan jantung sehingga dibutuhkan alat kesehatan untuk mendeteksi frekuensi denyut nadi saat berlari. Tujuan penelitian ini merancang sistem monitoring frekuensi denyut nadi secara real time pada pelari dengan menggunakan easily plugin pulse sensor berbasis photoplethysmographic. Sensor tersebut terdiri atas transmitter dan receiver infrared yang dipasang pada ujung jari tengah yang mana melalui jaringan kulit mampu mendeteksi volume darah. Fitur buzzer digunakan sebagai alarm jika denyut jantung mencapai 170 Beat Per Minute (BPM). Alat ini juga dilengkapi dengan aplikasi Android yang memudahkan pihak lain memonitoring keadaan denyut nadi pelari. Bluetooth HC-05 sebagai modul komunikasi data antara Arduino dan Android. Alat yang dirancang memiliki error maksimum sebesar 0,73% berdasarkan data percobaan dari 5 partisipan. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, sistem monitoring frekuensi denyut nadi secara real time mampu mendeteksi serangan jantung saat berlari dan adanya fitur data logger digunakan untuk rekap medis keadaan frekuensi denyut jantung saat berlari tanpa menggunakan aplikasi smartphone Android.</p><p class="Abstract"> </p><p class="Abstract"><em><strong>Abstract</strong></em></p><p class="Judul2"><em>Running is the most popular workout around the world, because the most accessible, the cheapest and organized sport. However, running is dangerous in people suffering from heart disease. Hence, the medical device to detect heart failure for runners is required. In this paper, a monitoring system and data logger for detecting heart pulse by using easily plugin pulse sensor heart beat and its implementation for runners is newly proposed. The proposed method of sensor to detect the heart beat by using Photoplesthymograph principle. The sensor consists of transmitter and receiver infrared through to skin tissue to detect the blood volume. Different to previous work, the proposed device can be real time to monitor runners while running and have alarm when their heart beat reach 170 BPM. This device is also equipped with an Android application that facilitate other parties to monitor the runner’s heart beat. By using OMRON HEM-7203 as comparison devices, the rate error of measurement result is 0,086% within 5 participans. The proposed device is suitable for heart pulse monitoring system for runners in real time to reduce the heart attack while running.</em><em> </em></p><p class="Abstract"><em><strong><br /></strong></em></p>

The continuous monitoring of cardiac activity using conventional electrocardiography systems restricts signals acquisition to specific locations such as hospitals and medical clinics, and Holters systems don’t transmit the information about the electrocardiogram to the doctor and don’t react if the patient suffers from a cardiac abnormality, they only record the information. Portable remote systems have shown to provide mobility and comfort to the patient by allowing signals acquisition anywhere. This paper shows a remote monitoring system of the cardiac activity capable of performing the acquisition of ECG signals using a smartphone having Android, Bluetooth® communication and 3G technology for processing and visualizing ECG signals. The designed system is battery powered and three electrodes are attached to the patient’s chest to obtain the signals. It was developed a low consumption electronic circuit for acquiring and conditioning these signals using instrumentation and operational amplifiers. The processed ECG signal is then digitalized by an Arduino Nano, and transmitted by Bluetooth from Arduino to the patient’s smartphone so it can be sent to a workstation through 3G technology where the electrocardiogram may be analyzed by a physician. The results obtained on the tests performed validate the developed prototype regarding the acquired ECG signals in the oscilloscope and the developed Android application, which were compared with the ECG signals obtained using a conventional electrocardiography system. The proposed system aims to perform signal acquisition and transmission independent of time and the patient’s location, allow early diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases, reduce the number of the doctor’s visits required, besides providing a device more comfortable to the patient during the monitoring of electrocardiogram signals while performing daily activities.

An Emotion monitoring system for a call-center is proposed. It aims to simplify the tracking and management of emotions extracted from call center Employee-Customer conversations. The system is composed of four modules: Emotion Detection, Emotion Analysis and Report Generation, Database Manager, and User Interface. The Emotion Detection module uses Tone Analyzer to extract them for reliable emotion; it also performs the Utterance Analysis for detecting emotion. The 14 emotions detected by the tone analyzer are happy, joy, anger, sad and neutral, etc. The Emotion Analysis module performs classification into the 3 categories: Neutral, Anger and Joy. By using this category, it applies the point-scoring technique for calculating the Employee Score. This module also polishes the output of the Emotion Detection module to provide a more presentable output of a sequence of emotions of the Employee and the Customer. The Database Manager is responsible for the management of the database wherein it handles the creation, and update of data. The Interface module serves as the view and user interface for the whole system. The system is comprised of an Android application for conversation and a web application to view reports. The Android application was developed using Android Studio to maintain the modularity and flexibility of the system. The local server monitors the conversation, it displays the detected emotions of both the Customer and the Employee. On the other hand, the web application was constructed using the Django Framework to maintain its modularity and abstraction by using a model. It provides reports and analysis of the emotions expressed by the customer during conversations. Using the Model View Template (MVT) approach, the Emotion monitoring system is scalable, reusable and modular.
