This paper aims to provide a coherent analysis of the economic impact accession to the Eurasian Economic Union has had on the economies of current member states and what affect membership would have on the economy of Azerbaijan. By applying a Linear Regression Model we find that membership to this regional bloc has yielded minimal financial benefits for the existing members. However, for most states, accession has increased the trade deficit with Russia and that a membership would likely produce a similar negative outcome for Azerbaijan in addition to undermining national economic and energy policy making.

The paper is devoted to the analysis of development prospects and problems of Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) of Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Armenia. It considers integration problems inside EAEU, interactions of EAEU with other CIS countries and with countries from the rest of the world. The paper shows that the major integration challenge inside EAEU is the domination of the redistributive motive over the creative one. It estimates the value of the oil and gas transfer from Russia to other EAEU members and the influence of the Russian tax maneuver on this transfer. The paper shows the need in redistribution mechanism inside EAEU as a necessary condition for getting the potential positive economic effects of free trade with other countries. It also assesses the risks for EAEU due to Russian embargo for food imports from countries of the sanctions list and possible application of tariff in the trade with Ukraine.

The paper explores the possibilities of technological cooperation among the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (officially EAEU, but sometimes called EEU or EAU). Based on specific and individual backgrounds of each EAEU country, the promising areas for its expansion are determined within the framework of industries with export potential, high-technological, oriented at national markets for the formation of an economic strategy focused on regional integration with the highest level of encouragement of the national economic interests of the EAPC countries. The most significant sectors of the economy are identified: the space industry, energy, metallurgy, engineering, agriculture, etc. The feasibility of value chain development in the region was highlighted, as well as the development of inter-industry and intra-sector cooperation with partner countries in strategically important sectors of the economy, which includes the opportunity of forming specific sectoral niches through specialization and development of national industrial potential of the member states. This focus will promote development and realization of internal scientific and technical potential of the EAEU countries, commercialization of R&D results, technological improvements and will increase their competitiveness on the global markets.

Authors examine economic effects of regional integration in the emerging markets, impact of globalization on economic integration and existing models of economic integration in different regions of the world in order to distinguish key characteristics of efficient model of integration at the post-Soviet space. In particular, authors distinguish the significance of various static and dynamic effects of economic integration for emerging markets and make a conclusion on the rising importance of dynamic effects. It is proved that positive economic effects of integration could be more evident for the emerging markets than for the developed ones. On the basis of a detailed analysis of specific features of economic integration projects in different regions of the world, a conclusion is drawn on key importance for emerging markets of such formats of economic integration that directly contribute to economic development (infrastructure development projects, creation of growth poles, formation of scientific and technological potential, etc.). In the context of globalization the strengthening of cooperation in investment sphere, the implementation of integration projects on financial markets, the creation of common defensive mechanisms against external shocks are of particular significance for economic integration processes. Basing on the undertaken analysis, the main principles of efficient model of integration in the Eurasian Economic Union are outlined and the key terms of realization of this model are defined. First of all, an efficient model of integration in the Eurasian Economic Union should be formed in contest of interaction between this union, at the one hand, and European and Asian integration centers, at the other hand. Then, integration mechanisms should extend beyond traditional schemes of integration and include different types of agreements (on preferential investment, financial integration and cooperation), sectoral cooperation projects, common policies, etc. Formation of single humanitarian, scientific and innovation environment should become the key element of the integration model of the Eurasian Economic Union. In world economy the next surge in processes of transformation is observed. Globalization of commercial ties can be considered as interaction of the countries at the level of regional blocs. The international community reveals the prospects of forming of regional spaces which state members can be integrated among themselves stronger, than with the third countries, and the system of bilateral and multilateral ties and arrangements will be built not only between the countries, but also between economic blocks. As a result of a cooperation each country shall gain additional economic effect for the realization account of integration potential of consolidation and competitive advantages of state members of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU). The additional effect for state members of EEU will be expressed in acceleration of achievement of national strategic objectives and also receipt of an increment of national economic results due to implementation of integration measures and projects. The majority of economically developed countries of the world recognized need not only forecasting of the future for identification of the directions of a joint cooperation in case of achievement of strategic objectives, but also its active forming by means of such tool as forsayt-designing. In a research theoretical and empirical methods are used, in particular: overview of literature, logical and system analysis, methods of collection of empirical data, descriptions, forecast and handling of results of a research, forsayt-designing. The main objective of a research consists in a research of features of implementation of competitive advantages of the Eurasian Economic Union on the basis of forsayt-designing. In article influence of processes of rapprochement of Russia and China on integration of the last into EEU is considered. The prospects of interaction of the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China on the basis of development of dynamically developing border areas, potential kernels of economic development are considered. On the basis of expert poll road mapping of cross-border interaction of Russia and China on key parameters is made: foreign trade, possible programs of a cooperation.

The present chapter analyzes the importance of telecommunications and its economic effects by identifying the relation between the amount of telephone lines, both fixed and mobile, and the economy of Latin America as a region since year 1975 to 2015. The relation is demonstrated using a linear regression model. The case of Guatemala is analyzed in more in detail, where telecommunications have developed at an important pace since the privatization of the former public telco operator along crucial regulatory reforms.

The paper appraises current progress in establishing the Customs Union and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). Although the progress has slowed down after the initial rapid advancement, the Union is better viewed not as an exception from the general rules of regional economic integration but rather as one of the functioning customs unions with its successes and stumbling blocs. The paper reviews the state of Eurasian institutions, the establishment of the single market of goods and services, the situation with mutual trade and investment flows among the member states, the ongoing work on the liquidation/unification of non-tariff barriers, the problems of the efficient coordination of macroeconomic policies, progress towards establishing an EAEU network of free trade areas with partners around the world, the state of the common labor market, and the dynamics of public opinion on Eurasian integration in the five member states.

In this paper, the linear regression model using ANN and the linear regression model using MS Excel were developed to estimate the physico-chemical concentrations in groundwater using pH, EC, TDS, TH, HCO3 as input parameters and Ca, Mg and K as output parameters. A comparison was made which indicated that ANN model had the better ability to estimate the physic-chemical concentrations in groundwater. An analytical survey along with simulation based tests for finding the climatic change and its effect on agriculture and water bodies in Angul-Talcher area is done. The various seasonal parameters such as pH, BOD, COD, TDS,TSS along with heavy elements like Pb, Cd, Zn, Cu, Fe, Mn concentration in water resources has been analyzed. For past 30 years rainfall data has been analyzed and water quality index values has been studied to find normal and abnormal quality of water resources and matlab based simulation has been done for performance analysis. All results has been analyzed and it is found that the condition is stable.
