An external proton beam from the 110 in. Harwell cyclotron has been used to investigate proton-proton scattering at 147 MeV. The angular distribution of the scattering has been studied from 25 to 90° and found to be isotropic, within the limits of error. The absolute differential cross-section for scattering at 90° has been measured in two ways and found to be 4⋅94 ± 0⋅28 millibams. The results can also be used to find the 12 C( p , pn ) 11 C cross-section at 142 MeV.

The analysis of the dα bidimensional spectra of the 7Li(3He, ααd) reaction at [Formula: see text] is a suitable way of calculating the absolute differential cross section and estimating the competition among the various (d, 8Be) and (α, 6Li) channels when the ground state, the 3.04-MeV 8Be states, and the 5.65-MeV 6Li state are involved.

Preliminary results on the differential cross section in dp elastic scattering has been obtained at 1.25 GeV/u with HADES within a large angular range in the center of mass system. The obtained data correspond to large transverse momenta, where a sensitivity to the 2 N and 3 N short range correlations is expected.

We study deuteron- proton elastic scattering in the deuteron energy range between 500 MeV and 2 GeV at the cms scattering angle \theta^*\ge 140^\circθ*≥140∘. The reaction is considered in the relativistic multiple scattering expansion framework. The four reaction mechanisms are included into consideration: one-nucleon exchange, single scattering, double scattering, and the term corresponding to the delta excitation in the intermediate state. The model is applied to describe the angular dependence of the differential cross section at the deuteron energies of between 880 and 1300 MeV. Also the energy dependence of the differential cross section and polarisation observables such as tensor analyzing power T_{20}T20 and polarization transfer from the deuteron to proton \varkappa𝜘 are considered at the scattering angle equal to 180^\circ∘. Contributions of the different reaction mechanisms into the reaction amplitude are demonstrated in comparison with the existing experimental data.
