Although the methods of calculation of power corrections in QCD sum rules are well known, algebraic complexity rapidly grows with the increase of vacuum condensates’ dimensions. Currently, state-of-the-art calculations include dimension 7 and 8 condensates. I summarize and extend algorithms of such calculations. First, I present all the formulae necessary for application of the systematic classification of bilinear quark condensates proposed earlier, and extend this method to the case of gluon condensates. Then I apply these systematic procedures to expansions of bilinear and noncollinear quark and gluon condensates in local ones, and of noncollinear condensates in bilocal ones. The formulae obtained can be used for calculation of correlators involving non-local condensates, and for inventing consistent ansätze for these condensates. Finally, I summarize the methods of calculation of heavy and light quark currents’ correlators. This paper aims both to present new results on gluon and nonlocal condensates and to be a self-contained handbook of formulae necessary for calculation of power corrections in QCD sum rules.

It is shown that QCD sum rules in the planar limit lead to a certain relation between four important quantities: ρ-meson mass, weak π-meson decay constant, quark and gluon condensates. As a byproduct an explanation for the dominance of ρρ-decay for the f0(1370)-meson is proposed.

AbstractIn this article, we reexamine the mass spectrum of the ground state triply heavy baryon states with the QCD sum rules by carrying out the operator product expansion up to the vacuum condensates of dimension 6 in a consistent way and preforming a novel analysis. It is for the first time to take into account the three-gluon condensates in the QCD sum rules for the triply heavy baryon states.

AbstractA formal expansion of the CRM in powers of a small parameter is presented. The terms of the expansion are products of matrices. Inverses are interpreted as effects of cascades.It will be shown that this allows for the separation of the different contributions to the populations, thus providing a natural classification scheme for processes involving atoms in plasmas. Sum rules can be formulated, allowing the population of the levels, in some simple cases, to be related in a transparent way to the quantum numbers.

Abstract The Kaluza-Klein (KK) decomposition of higher-dimensional gravity gives rise to a tower of KK-gravitons in the effective four-dimensional (4D) theory. Such massive spin-2 fields are known to be connected with unitarity issues and easily lead to a breakdown of the effective theory well below the naive scale of the interaction. However, the breakdown of the effective 4D theory is expected to be controlled by the parameters of the 5D theory. Working in a simplified Randall-Sundrum model we study the matrix elements for matter annihilations into massive gravitons. We find that truncating the KK-tower leads to an early breakdown of perturbative unitarity. However, by considering the full tower we obtain a set of sum rules for the couplings between the different KK-fields that restore unitarity up to the scale of the 5D theory. We prove analytically that these are fulfilled in the model under consideration and present numerical tests of their convergence. This work complements earlier studies that focused on graviton self-interactions and yields additional sum rules that are required if matter fields are incorporated into warped extra-dimensions.
