Construction industry significantly contributes to New Zealand’s economic development. However, the delivery of construction projects is usually plagued by cost overruns, which turn potentially successful projects into money-losing ventures, resulting in various other unexpected negative impacts. The objectives of the study were to identify, classify, and assess the impacts of the factors affecting project cost in New Zealand. The proposed research model was examined with structural equation modelling. Recognising the lack of a systematic approach for assessing the influencing factors associated with project cost, this study identified 30 influencing factors from various sources and quantified their relative impacts. The research data were gathered through a questionnaire survey circulated across New Zealand construction industry. A total of 283 responses were received, with a 37% response rate. A model was developed for testing the relationship between project cost and the influential factors. The proposed research model was examined with structural equation modelling (SEM). According to the results of the analysis, market and industry conditions factor has the most significant effect on project cost, while regulatory regime is the second-most significant influencing factor, followed by key stakeholders’ perspectives. The findings can improve project cost performance through the identification and evaluation of the cost-influencing factors. The results of such analysis enable industry professionals to better understand cost-related risks in the complex environment.

A tanulmány arra keres választ, hogy a magyarországi középvállalkozások milyen fenntartható üzleti modellekkel (sustainable business model, SBM) jellemezhetők (illetve jellemezhetők-e velük egyáltalán). A szerző először a fenntartható vállalkozások és az SBM-ek elméleti hátterét tekinti át, majd a varianciaalapú strukturális egyenletek módszerével (partial least squares structural equation modelling, PLS-SEM) végez vizsgálatokat. Eredményei alapján a magyarországi középvállalkozások meglehetősen szűkkörűen értelmezik a fenntarthatóság fogalmát, a gazdasági és a társadalmi fejlődés, valamint a környezetvédelem hármasa helyett csupán az utóbbival azonosítják. Ebből kifolyólag SBM-jeik is széttöredezettek, nem tartalmaznak számos fontos kapcsolatot és visszacsatolási pontot, így nem kezelhetők „holisztikus” SBM-ként.

This paper presents a structural equation model, focuses on the influencing factors of business model innovation. Data are collected in some small and medium-sized enterprises. Totally 237 valid questionnaires were collected, and use Smart PLS for statistical analysis. Empirical results show that technology innovation investment, enterprise knowledge and social capital have positive impact on business model innovation.

Tujuan pokok penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh bukti empirik mengenai pembentukan organisasi cerdas pada lembaga pendidikan tinggi. Paradigma baru organisasi adalah keharusan untuk menyesuaikan dengan lingkungan sehingga memerlukan perubahan melalui kepemimpinan dan demokratisasi. Lebih jauh, kita ingin melihat bagaimana pengaruh organisasi cerdas terhadap sikap profesional dosen.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode survei penjelasan pada Perguruan Tinggi Swasta di D KI Jakarta. Data yang dikumpulkan terdiri dari data sekunder yaitu melalui penyebaran kuesioner. Teknik Analisis data menggunakan  Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) dengan pendekatan Path Analysis (Analisis Jalur).Berdasarkan analisis dan pembahasan hasil penelitian ini, maka dapat disimpulkan beberapa hal sebagai berikut: (1) Tanggung jawab pimpinan memiliki pengaruh yang sangat signifikan terhadap organisasi cerdas, (2) Iklim demokrasi memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap organisasi cerdas, (3) Tanggung jawab pimpinan tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap Iklim demokrasi, dan (4) Organisasi cerdas memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap sikap profesional.

Salah satu fungsi utama dari perpustakaan adalah pengemasan dan penyebaran informasi, bukanlah penciptaan informasi. Sehingga perpustakaan dituntut untuk memberikan layanan informasi yang lebih baik dan tepat guna. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualitas pelayanan terhadap kepuasan dan loyalitas serta pengaruh dari kepuasan terhadap loyalitas pengunjung di perpustakaan Daerah Kabupaten Sumenep. Sampel yang diteliti sebanyak 200 orang yang terdiri dari Siswa, Mahasiswa dan Umum. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis structural equation modelling (SEM). Salah satu pemanfaatan perkembangan teknologi informasi di dunia pendidikan di perguruan tinggi swasta (PTS) yaitu dengan memanfaatkan dan mengimplementasikan sistem informasi akademik (SIA) berbasis web. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti kontribusi teknologi dan infrastruktur (TI), desain (DS), sumber daya manusia (SD) dan budaya (BD) dalam pengembangan SIA berbasis web pada PTS di Palembang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif, sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode angket. Metode analisa data pada penelitian ini menggunakan Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah PTS di Palembang yang memiliki SIA berbasis web yaitu Universitas Bina Darma dan STMIK Palcomtech. Sedangkan yang dijadikan responden yaitu mahasiswa, dosen dan staff. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teknologi dan infrastruktur, desain, sumber daya manusia dan budaya berkontribusi terhadap pengembangan SIA berbasis web pada PTS di Palembang.
