Today’s purchasing companies demand an advanced buyer equal of enactment from their supplier while the two parties maintain a respectful connection. Although the supplier selection (SC) product life cycle cost (SCPLCC) is an important consideration among corporations, SCPLCC problem has become associated with deciding how one supplier should be selected from possible alternatives. In this study, we applied two types of goal programming, multiobjective linear programming and revised multichoice goal programming to develop a PLCC-based concept to solve the SCPLCC problem and construct a decision-making tool for application to a case of supply chain management in a Taiwanese light-emitting diode company in the high-tech industry. Our study main contribution Company managers can easily use the two approaches of the SCPLCC model with different parameters to solve SCPLCC model problems. Finally, we comparing five models found RMCGP with weighted linear goal programming had an adequate effect for application to the PLCC concept for high-technology comapny; this cloud make company decision–makers focus on low PLCC and select better supplier.

A gestão da cadeia de suprimentos sustentáveis é uma prática crescente entre as organizações que buscam melhorar seu desempenho ambiental. Nesta perspectiva, a Avaliação do Ciclo de Vida (ACV) pode ser empregada para considerar os impactos ambientais e de saúde humana causados em toda dimensão da cadeia de suprimentos. O objetivo deste estudo foi identificar práticas de ACV para a gestão da cadeia de suprimentos sustentáveis. Para isso, foi realizada uma revisão da literatura, identificando artigos para a realização do estudo, buscados pelos termos: “life cycle assessment”, “supply chain management”, “sustainable supply chain management” e “green supply chain management”, em três bases de dados. Usou-se o EndNote® para gerenciar as referências e o Methodi Ordinatio para classificar os principais estudos. Os resultados apresentaram uma visão das práticas de ACV na cadeia de suprimentos, como: auxílio na tomada de decisão para selecionar fornecedores; identificar recursos mais sustentáveis; modelar a cadeia de suprimentos conforme anseios sustentáveis; determinar as demandas de energia das cadeias de suprimentos; promover um produção mais limpa; avaliar os impactos ambientais de cada elo da cadeia: como a pegada de carbono e a pegada da água; promover avaliação das emissões de gases de efeito estufa (GEE).
