Commercial vehicle movements compose perhaps 15% of all urban vehicle trips and produce large impacts in key areas, such as congestion, emissions, road wear, and industrial area traffic. A system for modeling such movements was developed for Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It is a novel application of an agent-based microsimulation framework that uses a tour-based approach and emphasizes important elements of urban commercial movement, including the role of service delivery, light commercial vehicles, and trip chaining. The microsimulation uses Monte Carlo techniques to assign tour purpose, vehicle type, next-stop purpose, next-stop location, and next-stop duration. Tours are “grown” with a return-to-establishment alternative within the next-stop purpose allocation, which is consistent with the nature of tour making in urban commercial movements. The Monte Carlo probabilities are established with the use of a series of logit models, with coefficients estimated on the basis of observed behavior of different commercial movement segments. The estimation results in themselves provide insights into the revealed behavior that have not been available previously.

This research aims to find out the way or role of the Cilegon city environmental service in environmental control caused by industrial waste. To study this theme, this study uses two theories, environmental monitoring and pollution. Cilegon is one of the cities that has a high level of pollution. This happens a lot in the city of Cilegon especially in areas close to industrial areas such as Samangraya, Citangkil District, Kampung Cilodan Gunung Sugih, Ciwandan District, South Ring Road Crossing (JLS). The effect of industrial waste has an impact on the health of residents around the industrial area directly affected by the waste. From data obtained by the Cilegon City Health Office in 2018, there were 21,745 people with non-pneumonic cough and 661 pneumonia sufferers. This makes the city government of Cilegon must increase its supervision of environmental pollution caused by the Cilegon city industry.Penelitian kali ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui cara atau peran dari dinas lingkungan hidup kota cilegon dalam pengawasan lingkungan yang di sebabkan oleh limbah industry. Untuk mengkaji tema ini, penelitian kali ini menggunakan dua teori yaitu pengawasan dan pencemaran lingkungan. Cilegon menjadi salah satu kota yang mempunyai tingkat pencemaran yang cukup tinggi. Hal ini banyak terjadi di Kota Cilegon terutama di daerah yang dekat dengan wilayah industry seperti Samangraya, Kecamatan Citangkil, Kampung Cilodan Gunung Sugih, Kecamatan Ciwandan, Persimpangan Jalan Lingkar Selatan (JLS). Pengaruh limbah industri ini berdampak terhadap kesehatan warga sekitar daerah industri yang secara langsung terkena limbah tersebut. Dari data yang diperoleh dinas kesehatan Kota Cilegon tahun 2018 lalu, tercatat ada sekitar 21.745 pengidap batuk non pneumoni dan 661 penderita pneumoni. Hal ini membuat pemkot cilegon harus meningkatkan pengawasan terhadap pencemaran lingkungan yang di sebabkan industry  kota cilegon.

ABSTRACT A vast majority of research characterizes organizational politics as an aversive phenomenon and thus recommends exploring the factors that minimize its intensity. This study primarily endeavored to examine the role of high performance work practices (HPWPs) in controlling organizational politics. The moderating influence of Machiavellian personalities on HPWPs- politics was also evaluated. Through a questionnaire survey, 243 responses were obtained from engineers working in a local industrial area of capital city of Pakistan. The results showed an inverse relationship between HPWPs and perceived organizational politics (POP), and the moderating role of Machiavellianism was substantiated. Practical implications are presented based on the study results.

The article notes the reasons that contributed to the emergence of the All-Union Association for Trade with Foreigners in the USSR and the spread of its trading network to the periphery. The main stages of formation of Ivanovo Industrial Area are presented. The question of the evolution of management decisions regarding the management of local branches of the Torgsin in Ivanovo Area in 1932-1933 is touched upon. The periods of formation of the trade network of Yaroslavl inter-district base of the Torgsin and the stages of its further reorganisation are considered. Attention is paid to information about suppliers who worked for the inter-district base. Examples of economic and financial irregularities in the operation of base stores are given. Information on key wealth of non-Soviet currency gained by Yaroslavl head department store and its subordinate outlets in 1933-1934 is indicated. The article compares the indicators of Yaroslavl inter-district base with the work of other branches. The financial results of the trade network of Yaroslavl branch and its contribution to the work of Ivanovo central office are shown. The advantages and disadvantages of this work were noted, as well as the reasons that contributed to the decrease in indicators. Special attention is paid to calculations of weight volume of gold and silver purchase. The dynamics of changes in purchasing indicators is shown. The potential economic effect from the activities of Yaroslavl inter-district base was considered. The article concludes the role of the Torgsin as one of the sources of obtaining foreign exchange values.

Industrial area is one of the determinant factors in the development of manufacturing industry in a region. Theoretically, industrial companies located in industrial areas have an impact on increasing productivity, added value, eciency, and economic income of a region. This research aims to analyze the role of industrial area in overcoming the deindustrialization symptom with Social Accounting Matrix Model. The result of analysis shows that industrial area has an important role in increasing the output of economy and the absorption of bigger workforce so that indirectly will have an impact on acceleration of industrialization process and also to overcome deindustrialization. ======================== Kawasan industri merupakan salah satu faktor penentu dalam perkembangan industri manufaktur pada suatu wilayah. Secara teoretis, perusahaan industri yang berlokasi di kawasan industri berdampak pada peningkatkan produktivitas, nilai tambah, efisiensi, dan pendapatan ekonomi suatu wilayah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peranan kawasan industri dalam mengatasi gejala deindustrialisasi dengan Model Social Accounting Matrix. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kawasan industri mempunyai peranan penting dalam peningkatan output perekonomian dan penyerapan tenaga kerja yang lebih besar, sehingga secara tidak langsung akan berdampak pada percepatan proses industrialisasi sekaligus mengatasi gejala deindustrialisasi.

Counterproductive work behavior is a common phenomenon that is a problem in human resources. Such work behavior can be considered through situational and individual factors. The workplace environment situation that contains political activity and individual ability who have emotional intelligence can determine work behavior. This study examines the influence of perceived organizational politics on counterproductive work behavior and examines the role of moderation on that effect. The test was carried out using data of 200 employee respondents who worked at companies in the Batam industrial area. Results of the study using hierarchical regression analysis show that perceived organizational politics have a positive and significant effect on counterproductive work behavior. Furthermore, emotional intelligence can mitigate counterproductive work behavior caused by organizational political situations. This research provides practical benefits in overcoming the problem of counterproductive work behavior
