Ranking of universities regarding their web-based activities plays a pivotal role in promoting scientific advancement since it motivates the open access accessibility to scientific results. In this study, a new ranking system based on the website quality factors and traffic evaluation was proposed. Since top-ranked universities are usually considered as the standard models for lower ranked ones, the focus of this study was on top-ranked universities. The proposed ranking was compared with well-known Webometrics ranking system. The website traffic and quality assessment were acquired for websites of top-ranked world universities and the correlation between these indices and the Webometrics ranking was evaluated. The summation of the weighted value of obtained measures according to an optimal weight vector obtained by a genetic algorithm framework was used for ranking purposes. The results showed that the website total traffic size was correlated with Webometrics rank (R≈-0.6, p< 0.01). Also, using the weighted value of website quality and traffic measures, the proposed ranking system could predict Webometrics ranking by the accuracy of up to 69%. Even though the method was proposed for universities, it could be applied for ranking other types of centers or companies, provided that the suitable cost function for the genetics algorithm framework was defined.

Purpose – The purpose of this article is to explore and conceptualize the Semantic Web as a term that has been widely mentioned in the literature of library and information science. More specifically, its aim is to shed light on the evolution of the Web and to highlight a previously proposed means of attempting to improve automated manipulation of Web-based data in the context of a rapidly expanding base of both users and digital content. Design/methodology/approach – The conceptual analysis presented in this paper adopts a three-dimensional model for the discussion of Semantic Web. The first dimension focuses on Semantic Web’s basic nature, purpose and history, as well as the current state and limitations of modern search systems and related software agents. The second dimension focuses on critical knowledge structures such as taxonomies, thesauri and ontologies which are understood as fundamental elements in the creation of a Semantic Web architecture. In the third dimension, an alternative conceptual model is proposed, one, which unlike more commonly prevalent Semantic Web models, offers a greater emphasis on describing the proposed structure from an interpretive viewpoint, rather than a technical one. This paper adopts an interpretive, historical and conceptual approach to the notion of the Semantic Web by reviewing the literature and by analyzing the developments associated with the Web over the past three decades. It proposes a simplified conceptual model for easy understanding. Findings – The paper provides a conceptual model of the Semantic Web that encompasses four key strata, namely, the body of human users, the body of software applications facilitating creation and consumption of documents, the body of documents themselves and a proposed layer that would improve automated manipulation of Web-based data by the software applications. Research limitations/implications – This paper will facilitate a better conceptual understanding of the Semantic Web, and thereby contribute, in a small way, to the larger body of discourse surrounding it. The conceptual model will provide a reference point for education and research purposes. Originality/value – This paper provides an original analysis of both conceptual and technical aspects of Semantic Web. The proposed conceptual model provides a new perspective on this subject.

In this article, it is tried to study the role of IT powerful tools to change in identity of procedure in developmental project management from traditional space to virtual space (conversion of project traditional management to project electronic project) and also it is studied how to enforce electronic methods in managing projects and it’s effect on expense/time and quality factors with modeling a developmental project as a pilot project to exiting systems and procedures in projects. Today, the increasing digitalization makes the service industry like banks provide e-banking services or online banking in order to access the competitive advantage and dedicate much market share for themselves as it has crucial role in increasing the organizational profitability and customers’ satisfaction and loyalty, the quality of e-banking services is of great importance in e-banking studies. Little attentions were given to review of literature to formulate model as a guide for empirical test. This is a research paper in progress paper discussing the interaction among the E-Banking Service Qualities, E-Customer Satisfaction, and e-Loyalty form the customers’ point of view. The reviews of literatures covers the trends in internet banking , E-service quality dimensions relating to  e-banking services, e-Service Quality Dimension Measurement in Internet Banking, Key e-service quality factors influencing e-banking success, Interaction between e-Service Quality and e-Customer Satisfaction , Interaction between e-Customer Satisfaction and e-Loyalty, Interaction among e-Banking Service Quality, e-Customer Satisfaction and e-Customer Loyalty, Influence of Personal Demographic Factors on online banking, and conceptual model is formulated from the reviewed literatures. It is a concept paper formulated a research conceptual framework, and model to show the interactions among the E-service quality, e-satisfaction, and e-loyalty among the internet banking customers. Another part of this research will empirically test the formulated hypotheses in the present research work.

BACKGROUND Web-based interventions for depression have been widely tested for usability and functioning. However, the few studies that have addressed the therapeutic quality of these interventions have mainly focused on general aspects without consideration of specific quality factors related to particular treatment components. Clinicians and scientists are calling for standardized assessment criteria for web-based interventions to enable effective and trustworthy patient care. Therefore, an extensive evaluation of web-based interventions at the level of individual treatment components based on therapeutic guidelines and manuals is needed. OBJECTIVE The objective of this study was to evaluate the quality of unguided web-based interventions for depression at the level of individual treatment components based on their adherence to current gold-standard treatment guidelines and manuals. METHODS A comprehensive online search of popular app stores and search engines in January 2018 revealed 11 desktop programs and 17 smartphone apps that met the inclusion criteria. Programs and apps were included if they were available for German users, interactive, unguided, and targeted toward depression. All programs and apps were tested by three independent researchers following a standardized procedure with a predefined symptom trajectory. During the testing, all web-based interventions were rated with a standardized list of criteria based on treatment guidelines and manuals for depression. RESULTS Overall interrater reliability for all raters was substantial with an intraclass correlation coefficient of 0.73 and Gwet AC1 value of 0.80. The main features of web-based interventions included mood tracking (24/28, 86%), psychoeducation (21/28, 75%), cognitive restructuring (21/28, 75%), crisis management (20/28, 71%), behavioral activation (19/29, 68%), and relaxation training (18/28, 64%). Overall, therapeutic meaningfulness was rated higher for desktop programs (mean 4.13, SD 1.17) than for smartphone apps (mean 2.92, SD 1.46). CONCLUSIONS Although many exercises from manuals are included in web-based interventions, the necessary therapeutic depth of the interventions is often not reached, and risk management is frequently lacking. There is a need for further research targeting general principles for the development and evaluation of therapeutically sound web-based interventions for depression.

Computer's hardware and software development aided education field progresses more rapidly. Not only the computer is used in learning and assessment processes to add more attractiveness, but also it's used for better performance of educational system. But one of more defects was lacking in applying modern educational quality factors to both learning and assessment software. This paper presents a web based Student Assessment Process Management System (SAPMS). SAPMS provides a secured, attractive, easy to use and quality based assessment system. Our system is completely analyzed and designed using the Unified Modeling Language (UML). We also present the implementation of the core components of the SAPMS which performs the most important processes in the system. In addition to that a validation study for the system components is performed.

We introduce a conceptual model of contradictions and, on the basis of this model, a knowledge representation–based model is used, which is able to represent the semantics of provision types and related properties. The usefulness of the model is shown through an example.

There have been a few studies that have adequately compared the advantages and disadvantages of various types of agile techniques. This research study develops a conceptual model that enables top management team members, software developers, project managers, and researchers to gain insight and understanding of agile techniques and methods. Those involved in the project want to successfully complete projects on time and within budget while maintaining high quality standards and operating in a safe and environmentally conscious manner They also want to minimize the negative impact on the environment. When it comes to project execution, however, there are numerous constraints and risks that limit their ability to begin or progress operations, and which frequently have a significant negative impact on the overall performance of the project. After reviewing the literature, it was discovered that the Agile method is capable of accurately representing most factors. It is based on the findings of this research that this paper presents a conceptual model for the effect of agile project management on project performance in terms of timeliness, cost, and quality. factors are unpredictable and can have consequences that are difficult to undo without incurring significant costs in the process. As a result, it is more critical than ever to investigate their impact on project outcomes. The ability of countries to manage risks, control expenditures, exploit and benefit from opportunities is dependent on their ability to comprehend the impact of Agile methods on their respective organizations and cultures.
