Designing new pedagogy in response to the advancement of technology that requires the integration of literacy has became the issue in ELT classroom. What is more, the conception of teaching English skills, including writing, is not merely limited  to the language skills target but also how the learners become multiliterate in facing todays’ world. This article puts forward the framework of multiliteracies that is integrated in process writing approach to bridge the gap between literacy education and writing pedagogy. This study aims at investigating the enactment of the incorporation of multiliteracies with process writing approach and to explore the learners’ reflection toward the use of the framework in their writing practices. The data were taken from online surveys, the participants’ reflection, observation, and focus group discussion in the end of the study. Researcher used qualitative analysis with embedded quantitative data. The proposed framework was delivered to pre-service teachers (PST) in English Writing subject at the English Language Education Department, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya, Indonesia. Step by step procedures in process writing approach were incorporated with multiliteracies along with some activities used in teaching writing. Findings indicated that implementing the framework in teaching writing provides PSTs with the opportunities to embrace the multiple modes of meaning making and digital technology in writing, produce texts, and present them in multimodal and creative ways. In addition, despite several challenges in its implementation, the activities helped to improve the writing skill, decrease the chance of plagiarism, and increase the authentic writing. Finally, PSTs were motivated to enhance their digital literacy used in writing practices. As a result, the study suggests that multiliteracies had a space in the teaching writing skill following the guided procedures in process writing approach.

Analysis of mathematics subject matter in elementary school is a very important field of study taught at every level of education. The 2013 curriculum separates the field of mathematics studies from themes so that this field of study is a subject that stands alone. Through mathematics subject matter taught in elementary school can train students to think critically, rationally, logically, innovatively so that they have competitiveness. As for the problems discussed from the subject matter in elementary school mathematics which is seen from the suitability of the teacher's book and the student's book, in this case it discusses: 1) the scope of mathematics material grade 3rd elementary school, 2) the characteristics of mathematics subject matter in elementary school, 3) the relevance in elementary school mathematics subject matter to the scientific structure, namely student character, HOTS, 4C skills, literacy numeracy, digital literacy, financial literacy and character education, 4) learning innovation based on integration-interconnection in accordance with the science of development and technology and the needs of the community in the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0.

Writing, regarded as a thinking process enables language learners to explore and transform their ideas into words in accurate and appropriate ways. Although it has been taught from the Elementary school level up to the higher level of education, English teachers and students encounter various challenges. For students, they still get difficulties in writing a text even after being taught. For teachers, correcting students’ writing increases their workload. Therefore, how to reduce the load of teaching writing and to decrease students’ difficulties in writing have become important problem to solve. Through applying a technique in teaching writing, this research aimed to explore whether the application of peer review technique can improve students’ achievement in writing recount text. The method applied in this research was a classroom action research. The subject of the research was X-4 class SMA Negeri 21 Medan. The instruments of collecting the data were writing tasks as quantitative data while observation sheet, questionnaire sheet, diary notes and interview as qualitative data. This study was conducted as an attempt to improve students’ writing achievement in aprocedure text by using Still Pictures. The method of the study was Classroom ActionResearch with two cycles and six meetings. The subject of the study was the students ofGrade VII students’ MTs. S. Syahbuddin Mustafa Nauli. The research was conducted intwo cycles and each cycle consists of three meetings. The instruments for collectingdata were taken from writing tests as quantitative data. The result shows theimprovement of the students’ score from orientation test to Cycles I and II tests. Themean of the students’ score for orientation test as Test I was 50.41, Cycle I test was66.25, and Cycle II test was 85.41. The total percentage of the improvement fromOrientation test to Cycles I and II tests was 99.2 %. It can be concluded that the use ofStill Pictures improves students’ achievement in writing a procedure text. Thequalitative data taken from Observation Sheet and Diary Notes show that the students’were enthusiastic and attracted in writing a procedure text because the Still Picturesencourage their creativities and ideas to write better. For English teachers, it issuggested to use Still Pictures as one alternative media of teaching writing a proceduretext.
