The present work reports the effects of γ-, θ-phase of alumina on the hydrothermal stability and the properties of non- and strongly-interacting Rh species of the Rh/Al2O3 catalysts. Comparing to γ-Al2O3, θ-Al2O3 can not only reduce the amount of occluded Rh but also better stabilize Rh during hydrothermal aging treatment. When the aging time was prolonged to 70 h, all the non-interacting Rh was transformed into strongly-interacting Rh and occluded Rh. The XPS results indicated that non- and strongly-interacting Rh might exist in the form of Rh/Rh3+ and Rh4+, respectively. CO-NO reaction was chosen as a probe reaction to research more information about non- and strongly-interacting Rh. The two Rh species had similar apparent activation energy (Eapp) of 170 kJ/mol, which indicated that non- and strongly-interacting Rh follow the same reaction path. The non-interacting Rh was removed from aged samples by the acid-treated method, and obtained results showed that only 2.5% and 4.0% non-interacting Rh was maintained in aged Rh/γ-Al2O3 and Rh/θ-Al2O3.

Development of papaya fruit production is influenced by the availability of seed quality. High seed quality is maintained during seed storage. Estimation of vigor in relation to storability can be detected by accelerated aging test. This research aims to develop physicall accelerated aging test by, 1)determine the impact of physical accelerated aging on vigor and viability parameters on papaya seed variety Callina and Sukma, 2) determine the levels of seed moisture content and effective period of physicall accelerated aging to predict vigor of papaya seed. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Seed Science and Technology and Green House Leuwikopo, Department of Agronomy and Horticulture, IPB in January-May 2016 using a randomized complete block design with three replications. Seeds aged by the aging equipment MPC IPB 77-1 MMM. The results showed that the aging time decreased germination value in papaya seed variety Callina and Sukma with equation y=-0.1389x3+3.3333x2–25.25x+81.5 and y=0.0171x3+0.2028x2-9.9956x+81.095. Effective imbibition is 96 hour with moisture content 63-70% in both varieties. The effective of aging time treatment at 0x4, 1x4, 2x4, 3x4, dan 4x4 minutes. Keywords:imbibition, moisture content, viability, vigor

Through analyzing the impact of the factors of catalyst deactivation, different factors are classified according to timeliness characteristics. In this research, experiments were made under the condition of coal combustion flue gas on a coal-fired boiler to study the characteristics of the early deactivation of the SCR catalyst. Analysis shows that the main cause of early deactivation of catalyst is chemical poisoning (mainly alkali metal) and pores clogging on the surface of the catalyst. While the main cause of long-term deactivation is deeper chemical poisoning, pores clogging and the chemical form changes of elements on the surface of the catalyst. Through analyzing the influence of the factors of catalyst deactivation, separate factors are classified according to timeliness characteristics. This research provides a strong fundamental support to clear the deactivation mechanism of the SCR catalyst.

Various protocols are available to preclinically assess the fracture resistance of zirconia oral implants. The objective of the present review was to determine the impact of different treatments (dynamic loading, hydrothermal aging) and implant features (e.g., material, design or manufacturing) on the fracture resistance of zirconia implants. An electronic screening of two databases (MEDLINE/Pubmed, Embase) was performed. Investigations including > 5 screw-shaped implants providing information to calculate the bending moment at the time point of static loading to fracture were considered. Data was extracted and meta-analyses were conducted using multilevel mixed-effects generalized linear models (GLMs). The Šidák method was used to correct for multiple testing. The initial search resulted in 1864 articles, and finally 19 investigations loading 731 zirconia implants to fracture were analyzed. In general, fracture resistance was affected by the implant design (1-piece > 2-piece, p = 0.004), material (alumina-toughened zirconia/ATZ > yttria-stabilized tetragonal zirconia polycrystal/Y-TZP, p = 0.002) and abutment preparation (untouched > modified/grinded, p < 0.001). In case of 2-piece implants, the amount of dynamic loading cycles prior to static loading (p < 0.001) or anatomical crown supply (p < 0.001) negatively affected the outcome. No impact was found for hydrothermal aging. Heterogeneous findings of the present review highlight the importance of thoroughly and individually evaluating the fracture resistance of every zirconia implant system prior to market release.
