AbstractIn this present article the entropy generation, induced magnetic field, and mixed convection stagnant point flow of pseudoplastic nano liquid over an elastic surface is investigated. The Buongiorno model is employed in modeling. Through the use of the boundary layer idea, flow equations are transformed from compact to component form. The system of equations is solved numerically. The Induced magnetic spectrum falls near the boundary and grows further away as the reciprocal of the magnetic Prandtl number improves. The fluctuation of induced magnetic rises while expanding the values of mixed convection, thermophoresis, and magnetic parameters, whereas it declines for increment in the Brownian and stretching parameters. The velocity amplitude ascends and temperature descends for the rise in magnetic parameter. The mass transfer patterns degrade for the higher amount of buoyancy ratio while it boosts by the magnification of mixed convection and stretching parameters. Streamlines behavior is also taken into account against the different amounts of mixed convection and magnetic parameters. The pseudoplastic nanofluids are applicable in all electronic devices for increasing the heating or cooling rate in them. Further, pseudoplastic nanofluids are also applicable in reducing skin friction coefficient.

We carry out the effect of the induced magnetic field on peristaltic transport of an incompressible conducting micropolar fluid in a symmetric channel. The flow analysis has been developed for low Reynolds number and long wavelength approximation. Exact solutions have been established for the axial velocity, microrotation component, stream function, magnetic-force function, axial-induced magnetic field, and current distribution across the channel. Expressions for the shear stresses are also obtained. The effects of pertinent parameters on the pressure rise per wavelength are investigated by means of numerical integrations, also we study the effect of these parameters on the axial pressure gradient, axial-induced magnetic field, as well as current distribution across the channel and the nonsymmetric shear stresses. The phenomena of trapping and magnetic-force lines are further discussed.

The consequences of double-diffusivity convection on the peristaltic transport of Sisko nanofluids in the non-uniform inclined channel and induced magnetic field are discussed in this article. The mathematical modeling of Sisko nanofluids with induced magnetic field and double-diffusivity convection is given. To simplify PDEs that are highly nonlinear in nature, the low but finite Reynolds number, and long wavelength estimation are used. The Numerical solution is calculated for the non-linear PDEs. The exact solution of concentration, temperature and nanoparticle are obtained. The effect of various physical parameters of flow quantities is shown in numerical and graphical data. The outcomes show that as the thermophoresis and Dufour parameters are raised, the profiles of temperature, concentration, and nanoparticle fraction all significantly increase.

AbstractThis article examines the entropy generation in the magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) flow of Newtonian fluid (water) under the effect of applied magnetic in the absence of an induced magnetic field. More precisely, the flow of water is considered past an accelerated plate such that the fluid is receiving constant heating from the initial plate. The fluid disturbance away from the plate is negligible, therefore, the domain of flow is considered as semi-infinite. The flow and heat transfer problem is considered in terms of differential equations with physical conditions and then the corresponding equations for entropy generation and Bejan number are developed. The problem is solved for exact solutions using the Laplace transform and finite difference methods. Results are displayed in graphs and tables and discussed for embedded flow parameters. Results showed that the magnetic field has a strong influence on water flow, entropy generation, and Bejan number.
