<p>Mesoporous NaX zeolite has been synthesized from calcined kaolin with the addition of 5M NaOH and CTABr surfactant as mesoporous template by hydrothermal method. The result of synthesis was used as anticancer loading agent of ethanol extract soursop leaves. Characteristics of zeolite were studied by XRD, IR spestroscopy, Nitrogen Adsorption and SEManalysis. The mesoporous NaX zeolite has been formed with mixing of A, Y, kaolinite and quartz phases. The surface of zeolite particles has changed from amorphous to regular and uniform particles. The pores of NaX zeolite belongs to mesoporous type with size 6.13 nm. Loading process of soursop leaves extract on zeolite decreased intensity and crystallinity of zeolite peaks. The new absorption in soursop leaves extract loaded on zeolite spectra was detected at 2928.174 cm-1. The surface of zeolite seen to be compact and irregular.</p>

In this work the advantage of the use of the microwave technology was exploited for the preparation of perovskite ceramics. Microwave-assisted hydrothermal method has been applied to the preparation of strontium-doped lanthanum manganites with different stoichiometric ratio of the three oxides, La1-x SrxMnO3 (x = 0.3, 0.5, 0.6). In particular, pure black narrow dispersed crystallites of La0.5Sr0.5MnO3 of 0.68?0.18 ?m were prepared in only 45 minutes at 240?C and a KOH concentration of 21 M. The complete chemical, mineralogical and microstructural characterization of the powders reveal the same structural properties of the perovskite powders previously synthesised by ceramic and conventional hydrothermal routes. .

NaX molecular sieve films on ceramic paper prepared by in-situ hydrothermal method were investigated. The NaX zeolite seed crystals of a uniform size of 5 µm were synthesized by hydrothermal method in a mother solution having a composition of 3.5Na2O : Al2O3 : 2.1SiO2 : 500~1000 H2O. These dip-coated NaX seed crystal on ceramic paper lead to further the thickness (20 ~ 100 µm) of NaX film on the substrate at 90°C for longer 3~7 days in autoclave. Pure zeolite films consisting of a continuous intergrown of 5~ 20 µm NaX crystal have been prepared on the substrates. The zeolite films were characterized by XRD, SEM, BET and XRF.
