Uterine prolapse complicating pregnancy is rare. Two cases are presented here: one patient had uterine prolapse at both her second and third pregnancy, and the other developed only once prolapse during pregnancy. This report will analyze etiology, clinical characteristics, complication, and treatment of uterine prolapse in pregnancy. Routine gynecologic examination should be carried out during pregnancy. If uterine prolapse occurred, conservative treatment could be used to prolong the gestational period as far as possible. Vaginal delivery is possible, but caesarean section seems a better alternative when prolapsed uterus cannot resolve during childbirth.

The author recommends the following method of treatment of such bleeding: 1) at strong periods-rest, means reducing the uterus; treatment of existing diseases of organs in the interval of bleeding by infections of nonspecific means (calcium, foreign protein, own blood and serum); application of follicular hormone at hypoplasia of uterus on the basis of insufficiency of ovary; X-ray castration in women close to menopause in cases where strong monthly bleeding leads to anemia; 2) in case of frequent periods - to pay attention to the general condition of the body, in the absence of local and general changes treatment with hormones (in shortening of the second phase of the cycle - lute body hormone in the second half of the cycle, in hypoplastic uterus - follicular hormone) is indicated; 3) in bleeding on the basis of myoma- X-ray castration, if the bleeding led to anemia, the tumor is not larger than a child's head and the woman is over 45 years old; or surgical treatment; 4) in atypical bleeding-in cases of ascending endometritis, accompanied by severe inflammatory phenomena, fever a. recommends conservative treatment.

Background Keratoacanthomas (KAs) are neoplasms of squamous epithelium which exhibit rapid growth and are often difficult to distinguish clinically from squamous cell carcinoma. Excision is the most common treatment, but in refractory cases or for KAs in cosmetically sensitive areas, nonoperative modalities may be better suited. Objective To compare efficacies of topical and intralesional therapies for the treatment of KAs. Methods A systematic literature review was performed using Medline, Ovid, and Embase. Studies looking at the efficacy of topical or intralesional treatments for KAs were included. To compare efficacy, 2-tailed t-tests were performed, with P < .05 considered statistically significant. Results Forty-one studies were identified across 5 modalities. Both topical and intralesional treatments had high KA eradication rates (92%-100%). Intralesional 5-fluorouracil led to faster KA healing times when compared to intralesional methotrexate (3.7 vs 4.6 weeks, P = .017). Similarly, topical 5-fluorouracil led to faster time to heal than topical imiquimod (3.8 vs 7.6 weeks with imiquimod, P < .0001). Conclusion For nonoperative treatment of KAs, strong evidence currently exists for both topical and intralesional therapies. Decisions on which modality to use should be made on a case-by-case basis.

Tracheobronchopathia osteochondroplastica (TO) is a rare disease. Here, we report 5 TO cases treated at our hospital. Bronchoscopy showed typical multiple firm and glossy nodules in all the 5 cases. Conservative treatment effectively alleviated the symptoms. Tracheobronchopathia osteochondroplastica is a manageable disease. Awareness in clinicians is critical to avoid unnecessary treatment in patients with TO.
