Abstract Lesions of the peripheral nervous system (PNS), whether due to injury or illness, commonly result in residual symptoms and signs and, hence, permanent impairment. The AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment (AMA Guides) describes procedures for rating upper extremity neural deficits in Chapter 3, The Musculoskeletal System, section 3.1k; Chapter 4, The Nervous System, section 4.4 provides additional information and an example. The AMA Guides also divides PNS deficits into sensory and motor and includes pain within the former. The impairment estimates take into account typical manifestations such as limited motion, atrophy, and reflex, trophic, and vasomotor deficits. Lesions of the peripheral nervous system may result in diminished sensation (anesthesia or hypesthesia), abnormal sensation (dysesthesia or paresthesia), or increased sensation (hyperesthesia). Lesions of motor nerves can result in weakness or paralysis of the muscles innervated. Spinal nerve deficits are identified by sensory loss or pain in the dermatome or weakness in the myotome supplied. The steps in estimating brachial plexus impairment are similar to those for spinal and peripheral nerves. Evaluators should take care not to rate the same impairment twice, eg, rating weakness resulting from a peripheral nerve injury and the joss of joint motion due to that weakness.

Bekasi regency as one of the mainstays of agriculture of West Java province is one area that can not escape from the problems of human resource development of agriculture that should get attention by local governments, the private sector and local communities. Many factors that cause deterioration of agriculture in Bekasi Regency, among others; not optimal function of the institution / organization of Agricultural Extension, operational techniques ranging from counseling; extension of distribution, identification of potential areas of extension, aspects of planning and implementation. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the implementation of agricultural extension in Bekasi based aspects of the functions of institutions / organizations and operational technical extension further identify potential areas of agricultural extension. The method used in this study is a qualitative method, ie by observation, interviews and observations documents. The results showed that: (1) Institutions / organizations that form the Executive Agency of Agricultural Extension as an institution is still limited motion in terms of both quantity and quality of personnel, bergaining institutions still sometimes overlaps with the Department of Agriculture. (2) There are still required the addition and improvement of facilities / infrastructure of agricultural extension services so as to improve the quantity and quality of the target areas. (3) Implementation of outreach are still many obstacles execution as their major influence on the political Pilkades, information outreach activities that still have not been absorbed by the farmer that still few farmers who take part in counseling, technology transfer and transfer of regeneration as a target of the main actors, and the synergy between the authorities village extension workers are not optimal.

The carried-out analysis of the dynamics of a submarine body’s translational motion affected by an acoustic shock in the ideal medium provides for the possibility to evaluate the physical properties of the medium and elastic properties of the external body of the submarine to the value of limited motion of a submersible vehicle. The results of analysis provide for the possibility to conduct a comparative analysis of the submersible vehicle’s translational motion affected by an acoustic shock, taking into account the peculiarities of the motion medium, or rather taking into account the viscosity of the real medium. In this work, evaluative measurements of the features of moving the layout of the submarine were carried out. The limiting values of the displacement of the layout of the submarine are established for the case of the presence of an external artificial diffuse disturbance. A fluid with air bubbles from a compressed air cylinder was used to create an artificial diffuse perturbation. Such conditions are possible with intensive local bombardment or the presence of other high-speed underwater vehicles involved in local underwater operations.
