Abstract We consider the two-loop corrections to the HW+W− vertex at order ααs. We construct a canonical basis for the two-loop integrals using the Baikov representation and the intersection theory. By solving the ϵ-form differential equations, we obtain fully analytic expressions for the master integrals in terms of multiple polylogarithms, which allow fast and accurate numeric evaluation for arbitrary configurations of external momenta. We apply our analytic results to the decay process H → νeeW, and study both the integrated and differential decay rates. Our results can also be applied to the Higgs production process via W boson fusion.

The charmed and bottom hadron decays have been analyzed phenomenologically, keeping both the spectator and nonspectator contributions to the total decay rates. A sum rule relating the total decay widths of the four low-lying charmed baryons is given. It is pointed out that all the data which have become recently available can be understood in all cases with negligible Pauli interference effects but with important exchange- mechanism contributions. Predictions for the lifetimes of [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] together with the expected lifetime hierarchy for the bottom hadrons are given. The corresponding semileptonic branching ratios, where possible, are also predicted.

The hyperfine splitting in heavy quarkonia is considered in its relation to the leptonic decay rates with the account of relativistic and radiative corrections. The calculated decay rates agree well with the available experimental data, while the predicted ηc(2S) mass is significantly smaller than the value measured recently by the Belle collaboration.
