We investigate the behaviour of the plasma parameters in the magnetosheath in a case when Interball-1 satellite stayed in the magnetosheath, crossing the tail magnetopause. In our analysis we apply the numerical magnetosheath-magnetosphere model as a theoretical tool. The bow shock and the magnetopause are self-consistently determined in the process of the solution. The flow in the magnetosheath is governed by the Euler equations of compressible ideal gas. The magnetic field in the magnetosphere is calculated by a variant of the Tsyganenko model, modified to account for an asymmetric magnetopause. Also, the magnetopause currents in Tsyganenko model are replaced by numericaly calulated ones. Measurements from WIND spacecraft are used as a solar wind monitor. The results demonstrate a good agreement between the model-calculated and measured values of the parameters under investigation.

AbstractThe solution for the flow of an incompressible fluid past an infinitely long wedge with a finite sloping edge (a finite wedge) is generalized by the hodograph method. In the flow thus obtained the axis of symmetry and a sloping edge of the wedge are again part of one streamline. It becomes possible to describe the flow of an ideal gas past a finite wedge if the hypothesis is made that the first singularity on this streamline, along the sloping edge, corresponds to the shoulder of the wedge. For a given wedge, with gradually increasing velocity at infinity upstream, the singularity appears at first at subsonic velocity. Beyond a certain critical velocity at infinity the singularity is always associated with the speed of sound. The hypothesis thus implies that put forward by Maccoll(9) and supported by Busemann(l). A qualitative examination shows that the solution reproduces experimentally known features of the flow of compressible fluid past a finite wedge.

BPPT conducted the mass of CO2 gas calculation in the gas absorption experiments with phytoplankton cultivation in the photobioreaktor (FBR) batch and continous syatem using the ideal gas equation. This study stated that the method of calculation with the ideal gas equation is more simple and practical in providing data analysis compared with biomass methods. Some things to note in this method include good knowledge about the movement of the gas flow diagram of inputs and outputs FBR, an appropriate gas sampling, and accuracy of measuring instruments. The required data in the mass calculation of CO2 gas in a batch photobioreactor system was resultant CO2 concentration during measurement. Meanwhile in a continuous systems, the requireddata was CO2 concentration at the reactor input and output , the rate and duration of the injection gas.Keywods : massa gas CO2, dry weight, ideal gas formula

The behaviour of steady transonic dense gas flow is essentially governed by two non-dimensional parameters characterising the magnitude and sign of the fundamental derivative of gas dynamics ($\unicode[STIX]{x1D6E4}$) and its derivative with respect to the density at constant entropy ($\unicode[STIX]{x1D6EC}$) in the small-disturbance limit. The resulting response to external forcing is surprisingly rich and studied in detail for the canonical problem of two-dimensional flow past compression/expansion ramps.
