We have studied phenomenological implication of R-parity violating (Rp) Minimal Supersymmetric Model (MSSM) via analyses of pure leptonic (M→νν¯) and semileptonic decays of pseudoscalar mesons (M→Xνν¯). These analyses involve comparison between theoretical predictions made by Rp MSSM and the Standard Model (SM) with the experimental results like branching fractions (Br) of the said process. We have found, in general, that Rp contribution dominates over the SM contribution, i.e., by a factor of 10 for the pure leptonic decays of KL,S and by 102 and 104 in case of Bs and Bd, respectively. Furthermore, the limits obtained on Rp Yukawa couplings (λαkβ′λαkγ′⁎) by using Br  (M→Xνν¯) are used to calculate Br  (M→νν¯). This demonstrates the role of Rp MSSM as a viable model for the study of new physics contribution in rare decays at places like Super B factories, KOTO (J-PARC) and NA62 at CERN.

AbstractWith the potential for the improvements of measurement precision, the refinement of theoretical calculation on hadronic B weak decays is necessary. In this paper, we study the contributions of B mesonic distribution amplitude $${\Phi }_{B2}$$ΦB2 within the QCD factorization approach, and find that $${\Phi }_{B2}$$ΦB2 contributes to only the nonfactorizable annihilation amplitudes for the B$${\rightarrow }$$→PP decays (P denotes the ground SU(3) pseudoscalar mesons). Although small, the $${\Phi }_{B2}$$ΦB2 contributions might be helpful for improving the performance of the QCD factorization approach, especially for the pure annihilation $$B_{d}$$Bd$${\rightarrow }$$→$$K^{+}K^{-}$$K+K- and $$B_{s}$$Bs$${\rightarrow }$$→$${\pi }^{+}{\pi }^{-}$$π+π- decays.

In this paper, we present a review of recent works on weak decay of heavy mesons and baryons with two mesons, or a meson and a baryon, interacting strongly in the final state. The aim is to learn about the interaction of hadrons and how some particular resonances are produced in the reactions. It is shown that these reactions have peculiar features and act as filters for some quantum numbers which allow to identify easily some resonances and learn about their nature. The combination of basic elements of the weak interaction with the framework of the chiral unitary approach allow for an interpretation of results of many reactions and add a novel information to different aspects of the hadron interaction and the properties of dynamically generated resonances.

Taking into account the possible glueball component in the final state mesons, we investigate the hadronic decay modes of the lowest lying glueballs (G) with J PC = even ++ to two pseudoscalar mesons (PP). The naive estimations of [Formula: see text] for scalar and tensor glueballs are given.

Recent theoretical studies of the e+e- → K+K-γ process are described. Three main reaction mechanisms are considered: the initial state radiation, the final state radiation and the strong interaction between the outgoing K+K- mesons. The K+K- effective mass distributions are derived for three different models which in past have been used for a description of the e+e- → π+π-η data. Also the numerical results for the angular photon and kaon distributions are presented. A new model of the e+e- → M1M2γ reactions is outlined which can serve for multichannel analyses of the radiative processes with a production of two pseudoscalar mesons M1 and M2.

We make a theoretical study of the J/Ψ decays into ωππ, ϕππ, [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] using the techniques of the chiral unitary approach stressing the important role of the scalar resonances dynamically generated through the final state interaction of the two pseudoscalar mesons. We also discuss the importance of new mechanisms with intermediate exchange of vector and axial-vector mesons and the role played by the OZI rule in the J/Ψϕππ vertex, quantifying its effects. The results nicely reproduce the experimental data for the invariant mass distributions in all the channels considered.

AbstractAfter the discovery of the double-charm baryon $$\Xi _{cc}^{++}$$ Ξ cc + + by LHCb, one of the most important topics is to search for the bottom-charm baryons which contain a b quark, a c quark and a light quark. In this work, we study the two-body non-leptonic weak decays of a bottom-charm baryon into a spin-1/2 bottomed baryon and a light pseudoscalar meson with the short-distance contributions calculated under the factorization hypothesis and the long-distance contributions considering the final-state-interaction effects. The branching fractions of all fifty-seven decay channels are estimated. The results indicate that $$\Xi _{bc}^+\rightarrow \Xi _b^0\pi ^+$$ Ξ bc + → Ξ b 0 π + , $$\Xi _{bc}^{0}\rightarrow \Xi _{b}^{-}\pi ^+$$ Ξ bc 0 → Ξ b - π + and $$\Omega _{bc}^0\rightarrow \Omega _b^-\pi ^+$$ Ω bc 0 → Ω b - π + decay modes have relatively large decay rates and thus could be used to experimentally search for the bottom-charm baryons. The topological diagrams and the SU(3) symmetry of bottom-charm baryon decays are discussed.
