This study presents a novel and economical compound technique that combines co-deposition with micro w-EDM for precisely developing a multiple micro diamond wheel-tools. The wheel-blank is made of diamond grit of 0-2 µm grade by electrochemical technique, in which employs a designed micro tank with ideal convection and mini porous carrier. Using a pore size of 5-10-µm in the porous carrier, a suitable interval chip-pocket of 2-3 µm on wheel-blank can generate naturally. Formation of the multiple wheel-tools is carried out via the processes of slicing, thinning and dressing simultaneously to become grinding edges array. A circuit of resistance capacitance, which provides a very short pulse and high peak, is employed as the electrical discharge power to help in achieving a very shallow and narrow discharge cavity. The thickness of each grinding edge can be machined down to 10-µm. The experimental result shows that the proposed technique is an effective method to fabricate precision micro diamond wheel-tools.

The purpose of this study is to achieve machining of a split equal-base circle bevel gear. Based on the equal-base circle bevel gear theory, a cutting coordinate system for the separate piece is developed, and the tooth surface processing path of the separate piece is analysed and planned. According to the working principle of the equal-base circle bevel gear, by analysing the cutter position and posture, the calculation method for the angle between the wheel blank coordinate system and the fixed space coordinate system is derived when machining the separate piece for different spiral angles as well as various concavity and convexity properties. The explicit function expressions for the cutter centre coordinates and axis vectors for machining the separate piece are obtained. Using MATLAB, the tool position model is verified by means of calculation, and the tooth cutting simulation of the separate piece is carried out using VERICUT software. By machining experiment and tooth surface measurement analysis, the feasibility of machining the separate piece and the correctness of the tool position mathematical model are verified.

During the production of the low-pressure casting aluminumwheel hub, the head face deformation and axial deformation of the casting blank are always happened due to various factors.The casting wheels beyond tolerance are considered as waste products with no need for further machining. Traditionally, the measurement of the deformation is usually static and by handwork,which limits the accuracy and reliability. This paper introduces anon-line automatic measuring system for casting wheels based on laser measuring technology. The configuration of the system and measuring method are presented in detail. Test results showed that the system could meet the measurement requirements: the whole measurement process operated quickly with the total time of 30s; the dimensional accuracy reached 0.02mm while the measurement error of the deformation was within 0.04mm. The system achieves better repeatability and reliability compared to the manual measurement.

The Mathematical Model

Based on NC machining principle of hypoid gears and NC machining with high efficiency quality, This paper discusses the feasibility of the hypoid gear processing, establishes the mathematical model of face gear wheel hypoid milling machining adjustment, that will be take the basic data into vertical machining center machine tool, tool, fixture, the installation and adjustment of parameters, and we write a program of the CNC machining and corresponding code, combined with the specific wheel blank parameters to milling simulation test and milling tests, we obtain a new process methods.

The development of worm gear wheel blanks cold extrusion forming technology which can both reduce the manufacturing costs of the worm gear and enhance the Market competitiveness of products .Numerical simulation of cold extrusion forming technology of wheel blank was built by using Qform3D forging simulation software. That is, after the quantitative analysis of the distribution of stress fields and strain fields in the forming technology, determining the technology plan and conducting technology test, then the reasonable and feasible technology is designed. Cold extrusion can avoid the presence of the air gap, shrinkage and other tissue defects in the casting process, meanwhile raw materials can be saved 47% approximately than cutting.
